Guy is a scam artist

I had a miss in the 2nd cylinder of my truck. This guy Adam first tells me he did a compression test on my truck and I needed a new motor due to either a cracked piston or bad rings. He then calls me the next day with a price for parts and labor. Motor comes with a 3 month warranty and He needs $1100 down to pay for the motor so I go ahead and give him the money and the lady there tells me that the motor won`t be in ... view morefor 1 week and it will take 1 week to do the engine swap so 2 weeks out. The girl calls me 6 days later and says the truck is finished and that I can come pick it up the following day. The next day I get a call while at work that they ran into a problem and that I now have a miss in 3 cylinders and that my catalytic converter is clogged but before he touches that I need to bring him the other 1000 dollars for labor. But my truck is worse now then it was when I took it to him. How do I know that he did anything at all? He can`t show me any kind if paper work with a vin number matching the motor on the truck. The motor was changed once before so vin already doesn`t match so like I said how do I know. When I asked for the old motor he told me that the company was coming to pick it up that day and that it would b gone by the time I got there..so he could not even show me that the catalytic converter wasn`t the problem the whole time. The girl was very upset when I told her I was not giving her any more cash until my truck was fixed correctly. When I got home from their shop (without my truck) I got a call saying that they wanted paid that day and to come get my truck or they were charging 40 dollars a day for a storage fee and he was not releasing my truck until he was paid in full. So I asked " I towed my truck to your shop and now I have to get it towed back to my house 2000 dollars later with a worse problem then I started with?" He said no u no longer have a miss in the 2nd cylinder so I fixed that problem and that I can drive the truck it just does not have any power... But that was my problem before I gave him the truck! And when I asked how he knew the piston was cracked if he didn`t take the motor apart he told me he put some kind of scope into the cylinder which is believable but before he told me he just did a compression test and it was EITHER the rings or cracked piston so his story changed... So in conclusion never take any vehicle to this guy he is very rude and doesn`t seem to know what he`s doing... Very bad service and this shop should b shut down.

buyer beware !!!!! i bought tw...

buyer beware !!!!! i bought two used tires from here . less than 48 hours the passenger side got a huge bubble . when i called adam was very rude and basically said oh well there used tires and i prob hit a pot hole and it was my fault !!! i was so upset that he would not exchange the tire for another one !!!! he offered to put it on my back if i was scared of the bubble ya cause that a SAFE SOLUTION `!!!!!!!! I ende... view mored up going to tire for less the gentlemen there gave me my tire back and said i need to take it back to adam frist of all it wasnt the right size for my rim and also said there was bubbles all on the inside also there were circles inside the tires which he said meant they were weak and should have not been sold or put on my car . i guess you live and you learn no more used tires for me lesson learned !!!!!!
