Obsessed With Excellent Auto Repair Service. Call Us Today!
Pittsburgh Collision in Pittsburgh, PA was created by John R. Lynch In February of 1979, as a 2,000 square-foot auto repair shop. Over the years and a few additions later, it has grown to a 10,000+ square foot, state-of-the-art collision shop, along with a complete tire facility. Of course accidents are not supposed to happen, but when they do, you can be assured that we will restore your vehicle to its pre-accident condition according to the factory specification. We know that quality service takes the pain out of a collision experience so "service" is more than just a buzzword. It?s a golden rule. Our goal is to provide you the best possible customer service.

The Worst
The Worst. Very unprofessional , poor workmanship. I took my wheel to wheel thing to be repaired, and it took a month to repair minor curb rash. They told me it was ready i went to pick it up and they said it was`nt ready. I live in the western suburbs outside of Phila. had to drive all the way to North Phila 35min drive to be dissapointed. That`s not all folk`s so after a month of waiting they called me for my wheel... view more, i arrived at Wheel Thing for them to tell me they could`nt find my wheel. They found it the, curb rash was gone, but it was new damage to my wheel courtesy of Wheel Thing. They did`nt even offer to repair the damage they caused. This was one of the worst experiences i`ve encountered. This is a rhim shop for the local drug boy`s that seem`s what they are used to dealing with, never again

Wheel Thing
I have been bringing my cars there for years. The service is always great! Helpful and nowledgeable people to deal with. If there ever is a problem, they will take care of it. My BMW had a vibration in the front end. I took it to the BMW dealer for service. They said they took care of it. When I drove away from the dealer in the car, the problem was still there. So I went to The Wheel Thing when i got back... view more in town. They said the front wheels where fine but the back tires needed replaced. As soon as they put the tires on I went on the highway and the problem was solved. Thats why I take all my cars there.

Best In Philly!!
I have been going to the Wheel Thing for years and I have never had a problem. I`m not sure what the other two peoples experiences were but I have had nothing but good experiences. I have even recommended my family and friends to their store. i don`t think it has anything to do with the neighborhood. I hope The Wheel Thing keep up the good work and as long as they keep serving the community with good service I will c... view moreontinue to tell anyone I know about them.

Not a professsional place
I think this business has been living off the Reputation of Perzan who was there 6years ago. I purchaced what I thought was a new Blaupunk Amp and Bazooka tube., for $600. Turns out the subwoofer was used and they ran the power strait from my alternator causing 2 burnt out alts...the whole time I was there nothing but ppl returning with complaints from wrong size rims to mitch match tires sizes for one car to rims ... view morerubbing in wheel wells...the sad part about it is that this place is in a low income high crime neighboor hood were they are satifying the hood mentality...rims, rims, rims, and thats it...you got ur rims now live with them...

Absoluely horrible
I dented an aftermarket rim after I drove into a pothole. Wheel thing was recommended to me, and it was a HUGE mistake to take my wheel there. I first dropped it off, they told me it would be a week for it to get fixed. They never called me, so for 3 weeks I had to keep calling them back and asking if my wheel was fixed(by this time my spare was starting to go flat).
They finally told me it was ready on the p... view morehone (Again, almost 3 weeks after I gave it to them), and I showed up to pick it up, and big surprise, they hadn`t even started work on it. So they had completely lied over the phone to me, but they had my rim, so I was at their mercy. They told me to come back the next day, and they promised it would be ready.
I came back the next day, and to my shock, it was done. I paid them, went home, and the next morning, the tire was flat agian cause the rim wouldn`t hold pressure due to their crappy repair job. I took it back to them, and got more of the same run around as I did before, and I finally just said to hell with them, and never went back for the rim. That was 5 months ago, and they still have my rim I`m assuming. The most unprofessional business I have ever worked with
