Ziffo isn`t wrong
I have had the same experience as Ziffo there, ignored, blown off at the parts counter and it is just so weird to run a business like that to me. Bobs Cycle shop burning down in Sayre is the ONLY reason I deal with Bing Honda. I pray Rob Chamberlain will reconsider opening another dealership in the Southern Tier as Bobs was the perfect place for bikers. Great selection lots of inventory and very professional. They ha... view mored a big openhouse in the Spring of every year that drew thousands. I bought several bikes there. I am not even interested in buying a bike at Bing Honda, I will buy a new one from the internet first as the service won`t be any different either way. Just call the parts department and get the `what the hell are you bothering me for` attitude and you will see what me and Ziffo mean. Hard to believe that such a good brand allows itself to be so poorly represented. Their only shining moment with me was when they allowed me to order a part over the phone w/o having to come in (22 miles)and plunk down the cash, and that was because I did business there before and was on the books. That got them the second star. Their shop is too small to any real show room. I don`t think it was dirty but I can`t say I checked with white gloves. I hope the owner takes these comments to heart as I have no axe to grind but if I am going to spend my money I will be waited on or I will be elsewhere.

Binghamton Honda
Wish I would have bought my bike here. They have great customer service. Jim and Kevin in parts are awesome and will order anything and get it in a day if they don`t have it. Showed me helmets and explained all the features.
Jason is wonderful in the service dept. My friend had a flat and he got it right in and fixed in no time and we were back on the road.
I will do all my business here from now on.
Kee... view morep up the great work.

Go elsewhere
Not a good place to do business.
Purchased a new bike, took time off from work the next week to pick up the bike, they knew I`d be there to take delivery, none of the paperwork or DMV stuff was done. Had to come back 3 hours later. Got the bike serviced and asked to be kept informed of what was going on. No call until it was done over a week later. Seems like every time I deal with these people they act like they ... view moreare doing me a favor, like I`m interrupting them from doing something more important than taking my money. If someone opens a customer service oriented Honda Motorcycle dealership around here these guys would be out of business in a week.

Great Customer service
I have bought two of my motorcycles from Binghamton Honda. They were very helpful when it came to chosing my first bike, so I knew they would do the same with my next. I am a loyal customer and i allways go there first for parts and servicing.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced
This has to be the worst run business I have ever seen in my life. I tried on 3 occasions to buy a new bike there, even calling ahead twice. Each time I`d spend 20 minutes roaming around looking at bikes and not one person would even say hello to me. Even the sales guy and the owner`s son would go out of their way to ignore that I was there. They would literally walk right by you and look the other way. The showroom ... view moreis tiny, filthy and the bikes are always covered in dust. You can tell the minute you walk in that there is no ""Pride of Ownership"" at this dealer. I ended up buy $30K worth of bikes so far this year, but bought them at CNY due to this. The parts guys (including Rob) have the worst attitudes..they openly drink alcohol like Mikes Hard Lemonaid at the parts counter. When you call on the phone they all act like they`re doing you some favor to even talk to you. They`re rude when you come in, often stopping in mid conversation to watch a video on the internet or take a phone call from someone else while you`re standing there waiting for them to assist you. I`ve tried *REALLY* hard to give them multiple opportunities to prove me wrong, but they have shown time and again that they are not interested in running a business there. Talk to other folks in the area and they`ll tell you the same thing. If you aren`t one of their MX riding buddies, you will be treated like sh*t. I`ve sent letters to Honda NA as well as the better_business_bureau and local chamber of commerce expressing my experiences there. A letter to the owner got no response, so you can see it comes from the top down. Honda told me they are aware of this issue and are ""taking action"" whatever that means. It`s funny that ever Honda dealer I`ve spoken with has said they hear the same thing from people that come to buy from them, yet BGM Honda seems blissfully ignorant that they`re alienating the very people that keep them afloat. Too bad...it would be a great place to run a business.
