Best price for flex pipe replacement for Camrys in Pgh. No BS just good work at good price. Have gotten 2 in the past 3 years on 2 separate cars plus inspections. I agree with all of the other reviews.

I agree with all of the other reviews. The owner is kind of abrasive. But he tells you the truth, and his prices are more than fair! I will gladly put up with his ""attitude"" since honest, fair-priced auto mechanics are not common.

Great Pricing good work

Needed a flex exhaust pipe for 1999 Camry. The part alone anywhere else was $ 225 - 260. These guys charged $ 170. installed. No nonsense, no BS. Dropped it off in the morning, done by noon. State inspection for me also. Best pricing for exhaust work in Pittsburgh area.

They tell you what you need upfront, quote you a fair price, then rely on you to make a fast decision on whether you want the work done, or not. Their success is based on the quality of their work, not their ability to make customers feel good about themselves.

Customers can expect sarcasm if they ask questions that they could answer t... view morehemselves. (This is true anywhere!) For example, anyone that is partially educated (public school, 4th grade) can safely assume that ANY garage is going to be open only during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. For those of you who are at home during those times holding out for a management position, that means 8:00am to 4:30pm.

One can also safely assume that NO good mechanic will be open when it`s dark outside, or on any U.S. holiday.

Request the hours of a doctor`s office, not a mechanic. Use your head.

All you have to tell Master Muffler is what your expectations are, whether morning or afternoon is better for you, they`ll tell you whether or not that works. Don`t tell them your life`s story. They don`t care how you feel, they care whether your car is safe as you are carelessly risking the lives of those around you as you drive like an idiot.

I have never had a problem dealing with Master Muffler. I have had annual inspections/emissions done there for over a decade. Their inspections are very detailed. Your car should be safe, they make sure it is. Their experience with exhaust systems is unmatched. They also provide excellent brake work, suspension solutions, and drive train maintenance. You can pay more by going somewhere that uses George Foreman as a pitchman, but you will get better quality at Master Muffler.

Again, Master Muffler prices are very fair.

Anyone that has had ""problems"" dealing with Master Muffler should check themselves before pointing the finger. You can expect unreasonable responses if you ask unreasonable questions.

Master Muffler is a business where the employees are fixing what you did to your car. They do a brisk business because they know all the details about your car that you don`t.

If you need your hand held, go to your mother. If you need your emotions straightened out, go to a shrink. If you need your car maintained through meticulous attention to detail, go to Master Muffler.

I called to make an appointment and the guy was just RUDE!!! He was actually yelling at me on the phone when all I asked were his hours! I have never and will never take my buisness there!!!

Stay Away

The owner is a very argumentative guy who has terrible people skills. He told me to take my business elsewhere after an altercation where I was simply trying to get my car looked at. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
