FANTASTIC !
Another mechanic quoted me $400 for a new alternator & when I asked them for a rebuilt unit they told me to pick up my van.
Barr`s removed my alternator, rebuilt & re installed it with a warranty, did it the same day for half of what the mechanic wanted.
GREAT service, GREAT family business & GREAT people :)

highly not recommend!!!
Yes, I would like to let you know that their service is highly not dependable, we were told by a friend that they were good guys and they would do what ever it took to get our truck back on the road! WELL, our truck was delivered to them to be placed on their computer 3 weeks ago Monday morning per their schedule. It was not even taken into their shop doors till Thursday morning. We were told they didn`t have time!? ... view moreIt then sat on their shop floor till the next monday or tuesday. Apparently UNTOUCHED! We were told they were going to put it on their wonderful computer that could tell you anything that was wrong with the truck, We were also told that they could not find out what was wrong with it. They were to replace two coil packs that are on top of the engine, over top of the sparkplugs. According to what we told them our computer said was wrong with it. We were told that they did that and it didn`t work either. Well, the truck was removed from their garage and another person looked at this same truck at the begining of this week. And to our surprise we had 2 stripped or blown sparkplugs?!( This means they were literally BLOWN out of the head of the engine!) So, draw your own conclusions. We lost the use of our truck for 3 weeks over this and now we are looking at taking it to another garage. That we know can fix this problem. If we would have found out 3 weeks ago when this was to be diagnosed on THEIR COMPUTER we could have been driving our truck and enjoying our Thanksgiving! Instead we are trying to figure out how to get a truck that dosen`t run to another garage so it can FINALLY GET FIXED RIGHT!!!
