I go to get collision repair d...
I go to get collision repair done with these guys. They claim that I need to have the clutch replaced. That was a lie. The clutch hydrolics had to be bled. I knew that because my clutch had been recently replaced and it was engaging.

VERY HELPFUL PEOPLE
I called Walk`s Service Center to schedule an appointment to get my car checked out. It was making a strange noise when I was turning and I was planning on driving several hours away and back over the week end. They were very busy and were not able to get me an appointment before I was leaving town but they asked me to stop by and someone would road test the car and assess the noise. The service manager came out a... view morend drove my car with me. Very quickly, he stopped the car and jumped out to check for the noise. He found a plastic shield that had come loose and was rubbing the tire when I turned. He reattached the piece and the noise was gone. As it turned out, this was not a serious condition but I feel these people are very conscientious in that they didn`t want me to leave town without knowing what to expect. Thank you very much, Walk`s Service Center. I`ll be back.

OUTSTANDING! BEST SHOP IN STATE COLLEGE, BY FAR!
I`d been to just about everyone else in town. I got used to let downs and unprofessional service. I`ve lived here for 12-years and never realized where Walk`s was. A friend from work recommended them but I blew it off. Then another friend recommended them. Finally, about 3-years ago I went after two other shops couldn`t figure out what I thought was a major electrical issue. In the same day I got my car back an... view mored all I owed was two hours of labor! And it was fixed! The manager, Steve explained the whole thing to me and I came away knowing a lot more about my car and confident that he knew his stuff. He told me that all the credit should go to his staff, but man. I never told them that it had been to two other shops, but they figured it out. Steve said that the original repair (fixing animal chewed wiring) was the right repair, it just hadn`t been done right. They also told me that I was only about 4,000-miles overdue for an oil change. Why didn`t Lohr** shop or PepBo** tell me that!!!
I`ve never gone anywhere else since and I`ve never needed to. At first I just used to go to Walk`s when I figured it was a big problem, now I go for everything. Steve keeps telling me to get a new car because I spend about $1000 a year keeping mine on the road, but really if they can keep my old Audi on the road for that little, why should I go get a new car?
I recommend Walk`s to anyone. They are polite, honest, upfront and fair. It is such a relief to take my car to people I can really trust. They`re not the cheapest in town, they definitely not the most expensive (they`re about $25 less per hour then Pep Bo**, but at least when they give my car back it is fixed right the first time.

WALK`S RAWKS!
Forget the haters ... You got towed because you were wrong and that is that! This is the best auto repair service company in State College and that includes their towing company too. They`ll get all of my business and I recommend them to all of my friends.

Absoluely Professional
I`ve used Walk`s many times for minor services and major repairs. These are very professional and friendly people! The towing department tows illegally parked cars and this makes a lot of immature and irresponsible people angry but I`ve observed their same professional and friendly manner even when dealing with these people. I trust Walk`s with everything related to my cars.

Expert auto repair
This place can do it all. I have all of my state safety inspections done here and most of my scheduled maintenance (the ones I don`t care to do myself.) They get a bum-rap from punk students complaining that they get towed out of soneone elses parking spot, (but wouldn`t you be grateful if it was YOUR parking spot?) These are professional, honest people doing a great job at everything they do.
