Half Way Done Job

I went to have my trunk fixed at Joe`s. My car had been crashed into and trunk would no longer close. Joe and his wife Deb promised to fix my trunk so it would close. I came to get my car and trunk was closed for the time being. I opened my trunk and tried to close it several times and still would not close, so I went back the next day to have him fix it properly,he showed me some latch he said I would have to mo... view moreve everytime I closed it if I wanted it to close everytime so I thought fine, will do. He also told me I would probably have to have someone else fix it and adjust it because he was not sure if this was the real problem or not and he was not capable of fixing it correctly and he was sorry, so I put stop payment on the check as trunk was still not fixed. I went home and tried to close trunk several times moving this latch everytime. Trunk still was not fixed, so I was moving to another state the next day, 3 day drive and Joe knew this, so I had to drive all the way back to Iowa with a rope to keep my trunk shut while moving cross country, how stressful. I went to a place here in Iowa that told me more adjustments were needed to fix this trunk and that they would do it for free, meanwhile his wife Deb is calling me harassing everyday threatening to have a warrant out for my arrest. I sent them check in the mail for the difference of what it cost me to have stop payment put on first check and informed them they didn`t do the job they agreed to do, and that I will be contacting the BBB to file complaint. They didn`t apologize to me for not fixing my trunk and charging me and didn`t apologize because of me having to drive back to Iowa with a broken trunk. Also when driving thorugh their parking lot their are pieces of wood everywhere you have to dodge.
