The experienced I had with Howard body shop was the worst I ever had in my life. My insurance company sent my daughter to Howard body shop for an estimate, they gave her estimate back for the amount of $1044.00. We decided that the damage was not to bad so we will wait until she come home for spring to get it fix in Portland. My insurance sent me a check for $544.00 because I have a $500.00 deductible. The Howard bo... view moredy shop kept calling my daughter to bring the car in to get it fix. She got tired of their called so she gave in. We was not inform from the body shop that the cost will increase to $1302.00. When she pick up the car they told her that the parts cost more than they thought, that`s normal we heard that before. She was told to pay $727.00 the body shop will bill my insurance for $1302.00 not knowing that my insurance had sent me a check already. My insurance sent them a $258.00 check and told the body shop that they already sent a check to me in the amount of $544.00. Howard body shop knew that we only owe them $317.00 but they came after my daughter for $544. She called me and I added all the numbers up the amount the body shop tried collect was $1529.00. So I do not recommend Howard Body and Paint shop to anybody.
