Don`t buy a used car there

I bought a 2000 dodge Durango r/t I was real happy at first with the sale then after a week the PCM failed on the vehicle. Well knowing my risks on buying a new vehicle I was not concerned about paying for the repair which was 500 dollars I called them and the general manager said he would pay for part of the repair which made me happy. A coupl weeks went buy and th Durango wa still having issues with the PCM I called and spoke with the general manager to address my problem and check up on what they were gonna reimburse me. He said he never received the paper work. Soo I deliver the receipts again and the sales guy who was there said if I am still having troubles with te vehicle they would take that one back and exchange for a dif vehicle. A couple weeks I by and no word from the g.m. So I called and again thu lost the receipts and he sai he couldn`t put me in a dif vehicle soo I get his fax number and he has me refax the receipts and it`s now been 3 months no call and no check. My plan was to upgrade to a newer vehicle in the near future and possible by one for myself and thy totally blew it. They give used car dealers a bad rap. I wouldn`t ever buy a vehicle from them. I`m gonna take the Durango to a competing dealer with good reviews who is going to pay off the Durango and put me in something nicer. Don`t buy don`t buy unless it`s brand spanking new

good experience

We bought a used Honda civic here. It was advertised on Craigslist and was there when we arrived. It took us between 2-3 weeks to decide. They allowed us to test drive it multiple times and to take it to the Honda dealership in Beaverton for a new car inspection. Both Beaverton Honda and my insurance agent could not believe what a great deal we were getting. They were quick and efficient with the paperwork. I can`t believe these reviews - check out Edmunds reviews

In the 20 years I`ve worked with car dealers, these guys were absolutely the sleaziest folks I ever tried to work with. This is for their used department. PLEASE do yourself a favor and read their ratings from Edmunds website - that`s what I experienced. Didn`t do much with their new car dealers, but their used car division was the worst. They tried several times to get me to fill out credit reporting informa... view moretion before I even talked with a sales person (which is illegal by the way), I got 2 different promises to show me a car they had advertised on their websites and both times I drove over I got sales rep no-shows. I even called and confirmed the car was on the lot both times, and yet when I arrived it wasn`t there and had `already been sold`. Yet, I`d drive home, call, and it would mysteriously be back in stock. So I get a salesman no-show and the car isn`t there. At that point they tried to pressure me into buying one of their other used cars - which were in absolutely terrible mechanical condition. One was full of dog hair and the plastics inside were all pulled off and laying around the car/etc. Most every one I looked at had some kind of serious mechanical problem. They put you on an annoying mailing list you can never seem to get off of. On top of that, when I emailed the sales manager about the guy not showing and not having the car, the sales rep sent me a nasty email saying that he WAS there and I was the no-show even though I showed up with his email both times and confirmed the time/place with the other sales people. Complete lie. What a sleaze.. If you deal with their used car department, absolutely get your car checked out by a third party first and be very careful with what forms they have you fill out. In my opinion, you should NEVER go to them.

Wonderful Dealership

I was looking for a new or used car that would be in my budget. I had seen a few ads online and went to a few other dealerships, then I choose Auto Town Mazda. I was under the impression that this dealership was going to just help me find a car, and that was that. But in the end, they went to the end to help me out. The finance people got me the best rate for my car, and I was happy that I had kept my credit score hi... view moregh. It allowed me to have a lower finance rate, and the finance people had an easy job getting me a deal. The salesman was simply amazing. He took the time to explain the features of each car I test drove, and never once told me "BUY THIS"...I never heard him say "BUY" once, it was all up to me, and he was there to coach me on my shopping experience. I was really happy to see that they were able to give me full attention when it came down to seeking the final car I wanted to get. Other dealerships were really annoying and trying to get the best of me. Auto Town Mazda also offers SERVICE for their cars, and this makes it easy for me also. I would tell anyone to go there, and see the difference. There were no real negatives to this story, just be prepared to spend some time there. I give them 5 star service rating.

Excellent Service & Value

I just bought a car from this dealership, and I would suggest them to anyone who is looking for a new car. I was given a great salesman who was patient and willing to help me find the car I wanted.
