Poor Customer Service

The first time I used this place I had a good experience. A year later (two weeks ago) I backed into my neighbor`s car and brought my car back here for repair. The day they told me the car would be ready, I called at 4:50 to ask if it was ready ... it was. They *had* left a message on my home phone, but I wasn`t home all day to get it. They never called my cell phone like I had requested, so I called them. Howe... view morever, despite the fact the Yellow Pages web site says they are open until 6 pm, I was told they were locking up right then and leaving at 5. This was on Wed, Dec 23rd. I asked what time the next day they would be opening and was told they would be closed the entire Christmas holiday ... that I could have my car back the next Monday. I asked the receptionist if they could wait just a few minutes past five. I had a ride lined up, lived only a few miles from the shop, and would be just a few minutes late picking up my car. (Again, bearing in mind that THEY were the ones closing early that day.) She informed me NO. I asked to speak with a manager .... NO. I told her that them not being willing to stay a few extra minutes meant I would be without a car the entire Christmas holiday, not to mention I had Christmas gifts in the back of my van. She couldn`t have cared less. This was on the 23rd of Christmas ... not Christmas Eve. I was asking them to wait five minutes ... not an hour. At that point her story changed and she said the cars had already been locked up for the evening and no one had a key. I was a returning, paying customer and they wouldn`t wait five minutes so I could have my car for Christmas. Not only that, she clearly wasn`t sorry about it, and in fact, was obvious in her desire to get off the phone and get out the door. Needless to say, if I need a repair place in the future, I will find someone else to do the work.

This place stinks

I had the most horrible experience. First, when I went to pick up my car it still had scratches on the fender. They took the fender off and said I could pick it up on Monday. I came today and they put the fender on, but the front of the car was not alligned with the fender so they took it back. Then it happened again. Finally, after two hours I told them to their best because I wanted to leave. I would not recommen... view mored them to anyone. My front of the car is stll not even. Use someone else!

In February my wife lost tract...

In February my wife lost traction on an icy incline and fishtailed into a concrete barrier which ended up costing more than $5000 to fix. Ofcourse our insurance paid for most of it. My wife had her car towed to Ultimate Collision because it was not far from where she crashed. We were told by Ultimate Collision that once we got the parts it would only take about 5 days to fix. We don`t feel like they kept us up to... view more date about their progress as well as they should have and they kept moving the completion date. It took about two weeks to get the parts. It took longer than that to get the car fixed. They towed it to their shop in another city for the repairs. My wife was without her car for a total of 42 days. When we finally got the car they had lost our son`s car seat which we didn`t have a chance to get before the car was moved to the other city. They also lost my wife`s metal real estate sign which had been in the trunk. We also found a car model name plate in the seat which had not been put back on. A few days after picking up the car we finally got the car seat back and they put the name plate back on. We`re still waiting to get the metal sign back. Although the car looks and drives just fine, we can`t recommend Ultimate Collision because of their poor service.
