I am a business owner myself and this is not a way to do business. I wasn`t told that there would be a $25 a day late fee until the day I picked it up. Dropped it off on 13th was told it was ready on the 16th, I picked it up on 24th. Took it back less than a month later having trouble shifting into reverse, said it was because of the programmer on the truck. Now they are out of business, and here I am 9 mo`s later... view more with a truck with no transmission and out $1700. All I want is my transmission fixed so I can continue on with my business, now you have put me and my family in a financial hardship.

I only worket there if you have problems talk to the E owner. Transcare transmission has nothing todo with jand f transmissions. Im truly sorry that mr.williams will not oner your warrintys idid take care of alote of the warrintys at transcare .its not me or my wifes falt mr.williams closed down.i lose alout as well.

watch out

Fred and his wife in my opinion are crooks took my money under j&f transmission never fixed it and won`t honor warranty because they changed their name to TRANSCARE! Watch out for them!!! Not professional @ all.

WORST TRANSMISSION SHOP EVER I SHULD KNOW

BECAUSE I WORKED THEIR.. IT USED TO BE A REALLY NICE SHOP UNTIL THEY STARTED TO LOSE MONEY CAUSE OF A COUPLE MISHAPS... Unprofessional

After &quot;F&quot; of Jand F made a verbal agreement for work and payment on a vehicle already in his possession,he went back on the deal several times. He then took partial payment and came up with excuse after excuse not to start or complete the work. Then lied several times to try and atoginize me and start and intentional upset, honorable is definately not in the fine print at this shop.

Unprofessional and snarky

My car was towed to them through a broker. After becoming extremely uncomfortable with the broker, I opted to have my car released and taken elsewhere. I called this company directly to ask them their prices on towing and transmission diagnostics. They tow for $75 and diagnose for free. However, the broker informed me that it would cost me $400 (in cash only) to get my vehicle released. This company was more... view more than willing to collect this fee and blame the broker. Even after the $400 was paid, and the contract was null and void - this company did not offer to make it right and still rebuild my transmission. I had my car towed elsewhere. This opened up a whole new can of worms. Evidently, Angela (the owner`s wife) saw fit to slander my husband and me as well as the other shop my vehicle was being towed to. She was incapable (unwilling?) to address her concerns with me directly and chose instead to behave unprofessionally and like a child. After my car was towed, J&amp;F Transmissions (Fred) gave the wrong keys to the tow truck driver and took about 24 hours to correct the issue. Was this the final straw in a comedy of errors involving this particular company? Their lack of professionalism was striking and uncalled for. I wouldn`t trust this shop with a junked out car, let alone to repair one.
