Big Time Cons.
So what can I say about Mike the owner(who rippies you off) David Parnell( The Mechanic that don`t know much about motor or parts & loves to lie to you in what your car really doesn`t need)and there`s Jack Robbins(the man at the front desk that acts stupit saying he doesn`t know what your taking about or doesn`t know where mike the owner is at or why they won`t return your calls)They talk you into trusting them ... view morethat they know it all so you go for it BUT they return your car or truck with the same used parts they pulled out & cleaned up but if you know what you had in your car & iknew what was the problem & it`s still the same & you got charged for a new part (which is your same used part) they will not fix it because they know everything and you or we don`t...So they will not fix what they didn`t do right the first time they will tell you that the new part is not in yet (which should have been placed in the first place)and don`t have the time to fix it &they will call you back which they will never do...So People out there, don`t go though the trouble I & other have had to go though in losing your money to them...I lost out 3,000 in parts & labor with them

Great Business
I have been taking my vehicles to Mike`s Goodyear in South OKC for at least 12 years now. They have always been very honest. There have been several occasions where we took a vehicle in expecting a large repair only to find out that it is actually something very simple. I have also taken my vehicle there after the dealership says I need major work done, I took it to Mike`s and find out it`s not at all what I was to... view moreld. They always call and explain what needs to be done. It is very difficult to find an honest mechanic, since we found one we will continue to go there.

Stay Away!
Issue: August 2010, continuing
First, the pros:
My car was not running. They got it running again.
The cons:
The job took far longer than it should have, they did an incomplete job, refused to finish the job, and then deceived and ignored me after I paid them over $700 for a complete job.
To begin with, I got different estimates on when they`d be able to work on my car. A mechanic said they were very busy... view more; the manager said they`d get to it right away. In truth, it took days.
Then, 2-3 days later, when I called to see what the progress was, the manager told me that he had no one working that day - a non-holiday in the middle of the week. Several days later, when my car was finally "finished," I asked the manager about its rough idle, which it didn`t have before. He told me it was nothing - probably because I didn`t ask to have the sparkplugs replaced. I found out later from two mechanics at this shop that the compression was weak in one of my cylinders because a valve had bent when my tensioner went out. (This is important for me to know.) Most importantly, they said they made sure the manager knew so he could pass this on to me. He didn`t.
At the same time, I noticed that when they put my engine back together, they didn`t re-secure some pieces to the engine block - the oil dip-stick, several cables, etc. (To have this done at another place will cost me at least another $50-$100 if not more.) The manager agreed that it should have been done and promised me that he`d call me when he got parts and schematics from the dealership.
I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM. I called 4-5 times over the course of the next 3 weeks, and I went in once. He always promised that he`d get the parts very soon and that he`d call me very soon. Never once did the manager actually call me back, let alone actually complete the job. After it was clear that he`d do nothing, I brought all these claims Goodyear corporate customer service, who contacted this manager twice. He promised THEM (Goodyear) twice that he`d call me to get this resolved, and I never heard a thing. (Yes, he had my contact info.) To this day, neither Mike`s nor Goodyear has resolved these issues.
I`m usually willing to overlook mistakes if they`re corrected and I`m treated with respect. The manager at Mike`s Goodyear admitted his shop had not completed the job and then he showed me incredible disrespect and unprofessionalism by refusing to do it. If you want a job done right, I recommend staying away from this shop and finding a place that will treat you, your car, and your money with professionalism and respect.

Great Job Guys
Me and my family have been going to Mikes shop for years. They are VERY honest and dependable. Mike, Jack, David and the other guys have been great. They always talk to you about the problems and go an extra mile and a half to help you.
I appreciate all of you,
Sandra

Fantastic, Above and Beyond
My Volvo XC70 pulled to the right from the day I bought it. The dealer said there was nothing wrong, I had it alighned at three different places. The two right tires needed to be replaced twice because of the bad alignment. Yesterday, I took it to Greenway Plaza - Goodyear in South Oklahoma City for the new tires and another alignment. When I got it back, the alignment was still off. But, I took may car back in,... view more and asked them to drive it and check it again. The smart technician looked on the internet and found that Volvo had issued new tech specs for my car`s alignment. They re-set itaccording to the new specs and it is now driving perfectly, after 3 years of pulling. I`m so impressed, I had to write this review. I highly recommend this shop!
