We frequently got into these he said she said situations although we never lied to our customers sometimes they don`t want to hear what we have to say. Our core policy now is guaranteed core deposit back to the customer as long as we get a complete unit, shipping box returned, no matter what the condition the core is in. Silver Star Transmission has some of the worst customer service I have ever come across. One of their employees literally YELLED at me on the phone! They do rip people off and they dont want to uphold the "warranties" they give out. Silver Star will never recieve our business again! CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY!

BEWARE SILVERSTAR TRANSMISSIONS RIPOFFS

puchased a tranmission over the internet shipping was slow i returned a core that i had inspected by pulling the pan when they inspected they told me there was metal in the pan but there wasnt they scammed me out of my 500$ core fee when i called and talked to the general manager he told me there was bearing failure but when you rebuild a transmission you replace the bearings he told me that the trans i purchased ... view morehad used bearings in it i got ripped off by silverstar transmissions and you will too

NOT WORTH IT

PURCHASED OFF EBAY, PROBLEM NUMBER 1, TRANS SHIFTED ERRATCIALLY FROM THE BEGINNING, REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING, WANTED ME TO PURCHASE ANOTHER TRANS AND IF OLD ONE WAS DEFFECTIVE THEY WOULD SEND A REFUND. OLD TRANS ACCORDING TO THEM CHECKED OUT FINE. I GOT A NEW ONE FROM MB AND CAR DRIVES GREAT. MY OPINION, STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE A MB THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO

NOT A GOOD DEAL AT ALL

GOT A TRANSMISSION OFF EBAY, I REALLY SHOULD OF KNOWN FROM THAT POINT THAT THERE WOULD BE TROUBLE. TRANS SHIFTED ERRATICALLY, ESPECAILLY AT LOW SPEEDS. THEY WANTED ME TO BUY ANOTHER TRANS AND CHECK THE ONE I HAD IF IT WAS FINE I WAS STUCK WITH 2 TRANS. I WENT TO MB HAD A NEW TRANS PUT IN AND THE CAR DRIVES GREAT. MY OPINION, STAY AWAY. THIS WAS A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON.
