Great Body Shop

I had an accident recently and I contacted Geer Brothers. They took care of the whole thing. I dropped it off and they dealt with my insurance company. They called and kept me updated on how my repairs were going. My car looked great when it was finished.

The shop in Barboursville is absolutely horrible! And Keatons on Rt.60 is no better. Both places I had to return my truck. Geer brothers was by far the worse. I probably took it back 6-8 times. After awhile I lost track. They had my truck for a total of a month 1/2 or more. Thank goodness I had another vehicle to drive because they never offered a rental on their own expense. They "half a**" the job better ... view morethan anyone I know. My truck is brand new on top of everything else. The paint...matched but it either wasnt buffed enough or buffed waayyy too much. Had to re-paint the truck once because the painter sucks. Then I even drop it off, and tell them "Dont call me to pick it up until everyone in the shop has looked it over, and when it looks like it should, call me." They of course have the worse vision ever and thought I must of had 10/20. A blind person could have seen the swirls, scratches, fish eyes, dents, and white shadows. Oh and not to mention the over spray on the windshield. I gave up taking it back again after I was told that "Those scratches in the paint cant be helped, or fixed. Just park it in the garage and dont drive it." RIDICULOUS!! Idiots! Save yourself the trouble and time...go someplace else. Look good and long because all shops seem to do a crappy job.

Please don`t go here! My car is still at the Huntington location. Geer Brothers did the estimate incorrectly did not write down all the damage, did want to see the estimate from my insurance company even though I told them it was more. First time I went to pick up my car I saw the damage on the bumper they didn`t fix - they said they would contact my insurance agent and get it taken care of. They said it wasn`t on... view more their estimate but it was on my insurance estimate- if they had bothered to look they would have known that. We dropped off the car before we went on vacation FOR THE SECOND TIME- telling them we would be on vacation and left our home and cell number, but told them if they needed to reach us they would have to call the cell as we would be on vacation. They left two messages during the week we were gone on our home number. After the holiday weekend, we called them they didn`t do any work on our car because it wasn`t on the insurance estimate. DIDN`T THEY GET THAT FROM THE LAST TIME ?? They told me that they were going to contact the insurance agent that the last time. Long story short, I used the extra 300 dollars from the insurance company that I told them about in the beginning for a rental car for the first week I dropped it off! So now Geer Brothers still has my car, has not fixed it and still wants 300 dollars for the bumper. I am out all this money on rental cars still don`t have my car back and they want 300 more dollars when they couldn`t do an estimate correctly or call the correct number! DON`T GO TO GEER BROTHERS UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO GET TAKEN!
