Worst auto shop ive ever been ...

Worst auto shop ive ever been to, and that includes the shop that stole my prescription out of my glove box. Took car in for coolant leak which caused overheating. Charged 300 to fix a couple hoses. Didnt fix the actual problem, so i took it back, charged 100 to hollow out my catalytic converters (illegal btw), and then instead of welding them back together, he puttied them. problem wasnt fixed so i took it... view more back to him to fix it. over the course of 6 weeks: -told me part needed was sent to wrong place (i wait a week) -tells me the part is actually on back order (wait a week) -i call VW dealership he said he ordered from, NO ORDERS FOR HIM -i call him, he says he was getting it from a junk yard instead now (i wait a week) -call him, on monday saying i want it done by the weekend. he says hes working on it HIMSELF, and should be done friday. i say if not, are you open saturday? He says he would come in if it didnt get done friday. -Call on saturday, no one is there. -Go to see WTF is going on, no one is there, car is parked in the same spot it has been. had a brand new battery when i took it there, battery is dead, obviously as it hadnt been TOUCHED for weeks. -Finally now, friday, a week after that, i go there, he isnt there, i jump the car myself, (had to drive thru grass, as the car parked behind me didnt start, nor did the truck next to me). -Drive home, car is in worse condition than when i took it to him. The ONE STAR rating i gave is simply because atleast one star has to be given-- one star is overly generous for this guy.

I recommend staying far away f...

I recommend staying far away from this place. I was ripped off by them - I brought may car in that had a loud exhaust, he said the pipe was separated and he would weld it together. After about a week, it was loud again and codes came up. He said I needed a new catalytic converter for over $300. I took it somewhere else, they found that he had just put the pipe together with putty, not weleded it (he charged $200 f... view moreor this putty), and the code came from the resulting exhuat leak from the putty job - not in need of a new converter. He was not honest at all with me as he says on his site.

Great mechanic, great service!
