On 7-14-12 I took my car in to...

On 7-14-12 I took my car in to Firestone at 180 n 3rd st cols. Oh. For a rotation and oil change. They damaged the front fender with the car lift (which I have pictures of), then marked on the paper that there was damage. Well, they would know, they caused the damage. Check your car first before going here, take pictures! Nothing else could have caused that low of body damage! Then they put a lug nut on crooked ( w... view morehich I still have the lug and nut) and when I went to take it off the stud broke. I showed the manager the crooked lug on the broken stud and he tried to blame it on age of lug. Then they rotated the tires and put a round about tire from the rear on the front but said nothing about a round about tire. This after I had an alignment in April 2012. So then on 8-19-12 I took my car to the Firestone on E. broad st. cols. Oh. For an alignment, inspection and belt change. This is when they told me that my tire was rounded about and that I needed a front tie rod. (Which my mechanic said was not need) then they me they could not do the alignment with a bad tire and because it needed a tie rod. So now I have a bad tire that should have had 30,000 more miles, a damaged fender and a broken lug bolt. Not sure why no one caught the tire problem on 4-12-12 when they did another rotation. I am very upset and thinking that I should just give up on Firestone all together. Firestone claim office denied any wrong doing and twisted the inspectors wording and denied everything but tire stud. They denied that the round about tire was due to failed alignment and called it normal ware. I have been with Firestone for 20 plus years, but today, no more!

not worth the risk!

did great work fixing the problem i brought the vehicle in for, but when i go to pick it up the checkengine light was on. they run codes order the same part 3 times two weeks later install new controls chk eng light is still on and tell me they did all they can do take it to dealer and they run diagnostics and say firestone installed it wrong so back we go and after waiting another 2 weeks part is replaced and light ... view moreis still on! now the dealer is charging me 350 for tests and 4 days and they think the wiring was damaged under the hood (""pinched wire"") so if firestone is the only people who have ever been under the hood you make your own opinion! buyer beware! they dont seem to have the knowledge or equipment to properly fix an engine but will deffinatly charge you to try to fix it! Not to mention the run around if your unhappy with the work!
