Beware! Scam artists
I bought a used car for over $7,000, two weeks later I got stranded in Kentucky when the care broke down. I had to spend over $800 to get it fixed and they wouldn`t help at all. Two months later, less than 3 months after the purchase, I started having problems again, I took the car to 3 places and got quotes for the work, replacing head gaskets, water pump and timing belt all around $2,000. When I took the car back t... view moreo Byers they said that they would help me out and `not turn their back on me` what that really meant is that they qouted the work at nearly $2,700, which did not include timing belt or water pump. and discounted it a couple hundred dollars. Never buy a car from these people they will turn their back on you. One of the worst experiences of my life.

The Test Drive Run-Around
I can say I was a tad disappointed. I went to Byer`s Subaru in Dublin seeking a test drive on a WRX. They tell me it`s a company wide policy that you have to have your credit checked, agree on a purchase price, and THEN they will let you take the car on a test drive, saying they want to have the least amount of miles as possible for the potential owner of the car. For the extra 45 minute hassle and potential bad m... view moreark on my credit for authorization, I said no. They then showed me a traded in used WRX STi. I said I`ll try it out, same thing. This car already had 24,000 miles on it! I just don`t understand. I can go to and Audi/Mercedes/BMW dealership and test drive any car on their lot and I can`t take out a car that`s MSRP is $25,000 new? Are you kidding me? How do they expect to sell cars?! After that time I started comparing the STi specs to that of the more expensive brands like Audi and BMW and decided that`s what I wanted. Byers could have potentially had my business if they would have been more willing, but a month later I went out of state and purchased my STi!
