My opinion is that Craig Smith Auto Group is more concerned with making a buck rather than taking care of their customers. Our experience: -They were reluctant to pull the Carfax, hiding a previous accident -They were very unprofessional in negotiations when they showed us their financial reports, trying to tell us how much they were losing on the sale of the car -We asked them to clean out the vehicle after we ... view morebought it, and they did a half job. We had to clean it out after and found someone`s cell phone in it. - They had to have painted over rust underneath the car because not two months after the purchase, the fuel lines rusted through and it was leaking gas everywhere. The mechanics (not with Craig Smith Auto) who fixed the car said the car had heavy rust all over underneath, as if it had sat in a closed garage for a long time and sweat. We had to have both fuel lines completely replaced/rebuilt

I am very picky with my car I have a E-420 V8 Benz and it is never a fun task when I have to have work done. This may be a Chevy dealership but I have had them do front torsion bar replacement rear bushing replacement and some electrical work. Not to mention oil changes and switching winter rims and tires. Their is a Mercedes dealer in Mansfield but I do not feel like getting taken for over $500 every time I go somew... view morehere. Craig smith Galion ohio

In 2011 we bought our new car at Craig smith. The sales man was awesome, he wasnt the typical salesman at all! I`ve gotten all of my oil changes there. A lady hit my car so I took it to Craig smith body shop. They had it fixed 2 days later completely cleaned out. They gave me extra paint and told me how to fix the chips from rocks... The man even remembered my daughters name and helped me put the car seat in the car!... view more When I hit a deer recently they got me right in, fixed it in a week (they had a lot of work to do too). I would defiantly recommend Craig smith to anyone!!!

poor customer service

Watch out for the ""worry free"" extended service contract for $2000.00.
Within 90 days our used car needed transmission work, it was not operational at all.
The extended service contract did not cover the 1100.00 repair bill at all.
We were mislead. We specifically asked, if the car breaks down we are covered, they said yes.
We approached the sales manager after the car broke down on day 79, and we we... view morere told nothing.
We actually purchased two cars at the same time that day in oct. 2007 with extended service contract.
We won`t go there again if they can`t back up what they say and they sell cars that break down within 90 days of purchase.
