We have many technicians available to solve the problem and get you back on the road.Our technicians our A.S.E. certified."" ^^^^^^ That`s what their website states ! ^^^^^^ Neither Rod or the 2 ""mechanics"" could produce a current ASE Certification When I asked them to !!! Outrageous!!!

BEST TOWING COMPANY IN NORTHERN OHIO

On our way back from Cedar Point my 2005 Jeep Liberty blew a water pump. I had me my little brother and his friend ( ages 19,15,16) stuck on the side of the Ohio turn pike at 10:30 at night. We were an hour and a half still from home in Michigan. Rods Car Care was the ONLY towing company that would talk to me and offer to help me by picking us up on the toll road. Our driver Jeremy securely hooked up my car correctly... view more and quickly with our safety in mind. Unlike other tow companies they were sure not to further damage the car. With this company we did not feel like just another job. Jeremy then dropped out jeep at our hotel and help me determine it was the water pump that had blown and was sure to put the car in a safe place that it could be worked on. All of this was done in just under an hour and a half. Melony, the dispatcher, was also amazing. She knew what she was talking about and was very quick to get us the information we needed about our motor club. She was also very caring and very outgoing. We were so happy with the service that even when our previous motor club denied our request for service we paid out of pocket to have them tow us to the nearest Advanced auto parts store where Jeremy helped me verify that it was indeed the water pump. Needless to say in the two days we were stranded we were never alone thanks to Rods Car Care team. If we are every stranded in Ohio again they will be the only people we will ever call. Thank you so much guys for all your patience. You made a horrible day better and easier!

Scam artist

Before you call rods car care in Fremont ohio, make sure you own a haynes or chilton book for your car. I called them about replacing a valve cover gasket and upper intake gasket, and they priced me ok, but then gave me a 3 hr price to replace a thermostat which it is allready on the engine when you take off the upper intake.. how can it take 3 hrs to replace a thermostat when you allready have the upper intake off??... view more!!?!! Rod is a thief!

On 7/21/10 our 17 yr. old daughter was involved in a sigle car accident 2 1/2 miles from home. I received the call and left immediately. When I arrived the State Hwy patrol was there and he told me the tow truck and ambulance were on their way. Thw tow truck arrived and shortly after the ambulance. I asked the driver if he would take it to our home he said yes and asked for the address and contact #. I provided my address and cell. The driver asked if anyone would be home and I said probably not. I asked the driver if he needed any thing else and he said no, we are good. My son rode in the ambulance with our daughter who was being rushed to the hospital and I left in the vehicle I drove to the scene. That night despite a verbal contract I discovered the car had never arrived at home and called the Hwy patrol to trck down the car. After the fact the driver had decided not to take the car to our home because of payment. However he had the option of asking me at the scene or calling my cell- he did neither. On Thursday my husband called to get a price and pick up the car. The cost was $265! Comparable costs for other towing companies are half that. I sent our mechanic to check out the car which was a ways away from the hospital where we did not leave our daughters side. On Friday I called Rod`s and asked them to give us a reasonable fee so we could settle this and pick up the car. Rod wanted to talk to the tow driver and call me back. He put me off with he said, she said phone calls and waited until minutes before closing to call me. Which by then I was in the hospital room and could do nothing. Our daughter was released on Saturday afternoon and once we filled prescriptions, got her home and settled, I called Rod`s and was told he would call me back. At 11 PM he called me. He was rude and crude and chewed me out for calling him late and upsetting his staff! I told him he called me and we were the ones with an injured child. Rod has denied that I had this verbal agreement with the driver, which the trooper even told him I did. Rod has claimed not to have a contact # and then decided they did but I didn`t answer when the driver called- my cell phone call log has no missed call. Rod has claimed I rode in the ambulance and my son drove my car-my son is 14! Rod has claimed we both we rode in the ambulance- they only allow 1 passenger. As of today despite Rod leading us to believe that he was going to offer us a fair cost and putting us off, hence racking up more fee`s he wants $337. They stole our car when they violated the verbal agrrement, and they are extorting money by racking up needless fee`s. I have contacted our Senators and will fight for house bill 425 to prevent predatory towing practices and so should you. I`m in for a long fight for justice, while our daughter is in for a long recovery. I would not recommend Rod`s Car Care for service. The fireman must be a friend because Rod is a thief.

Rod`s Car Care the Last Honest Car Repair

Listen from a satified customer. Ive been to big city mechanics that are all about money. Rod and his staff will put in more for less than anyone else. Highly recommended from a fireman.
