I bought a Toyota Tundra new from River Valley Toyota in Lancaster, OH. When I had routine maintenance scheduled (oil and filter change, and investigate a metallic squeak coming from under the truck) I was charged for the service I requested. My wife picked up the vehicle for me and paid for the oil and filter change. The service department had called me earlier in the day to tell me three different people had ... view morebeen involved in two test drives and no one could reproduce the squeak. When I got home I looked under the hood and the filter I had marked was still on the vehicle. I marked the filter because previously when taking my vehicle to be serviced a technician asked me how long it had been since I had changed my oil because it looked very old and the filter was in bad shape. When I told the service rep at the Toyota dealer they were the ones that changed my oil, I was quickly assured that all service had been performed as requested. That made me suspicious and therefore I marked my filter before taking the vehicle in for maintenance today. River Valley Toyota charges for work they do not perform.
