ripp off

i went to robert for a repair he not only charged me a crazy price but he did not even fix the problem. i went to another re pair shop and they told me the part that robert put in my car was not needed so i had to pay another amount of dollars to get my car fixed the right way.i went back to robert and complained to him about this mess he told me that he would give me back half of my money and a discount on my next r... view moree pair i told him no way was i coming back he told me i was making a mistake then trying to put the blame on his employees but robert was the one who put the scanner on my car and took it for a test drive came back and told me the problem but it was a lie. robert basler owner of solon transmission is a lieing,cold hearted,untrustworthy,selfish prick.....please for your fininacial being do not go to solon transmisson

stay away

get other estimates. wanted to charge me 4000 for a rebuild of my trans when a new one from the dealer was 3000. also car had a vibration when i got the car back and they tried to place the blame elsewhere. also my car had several large scratches when i got it back. when i got it home had a large trans fluid leak on my garage floor. they fixed it but out of a car for another week. they said the used trans that they p... view moreut in had 50k miles. when i ran a car fax the car it came from had 65k miles plus. Definitely would not recommend. dont get burned. STAY AWAY
