Brake Lies
Never fun to be lied to and never expected this from a dealership that claims honesty. We took our car in to be serviced under warranty three times now. The first time they fixed our problem and tried to charge us $100 for a diagnostic fee even though the entire repair was covered under warranty.
Second time we went in we had lights on in the dash. With the car under warranty, figured we would get it repaired. ... view more They again charged us a fee. This time though they told us our BRAND NEW brakes were ""shot"" and needed replaced. This made no sense to us. The cost was going to be nearly $800. Not believing our ears we went to two other dealers to get a quote.
The brakes were fine, just the calipers needed replaced. This should have been covered under warranty but our local Toyota Scion is only interested in your cash, not helping the customer. The calipers were replaced at our expense elsewhere as the attitude at Toyota of Bend was more than we could handle.
A fight with the staff each time we needed to pick up our car for warranty service is not my idea of wonderful customer service. Toyota of Bend, time to take a look at what you are offering for customer service.
Unhappy customers are one way to go out of business. Do a better job and be nice to your customers. We are seriously bummed out to be treated this way.

Honest & Real People in Service.
Having read on the internet how often a loose gas cap can wrongly indicate an O2 sensors is bad, we asked Brandi in service to have the technicians give me the really honest answer. They did, and though it needed it I still went home and found further internet research backed up what they said. Next visit, Kelly in service gave me more no nonsense confidence - and the work was done fine !
