ZERO star! Berg Car Co is everything you imagine a used car dealership to be and so much worse. We walked in with cash and a willingness to negotiate. What we encountered was a rude, pushy, defensive, offensive, insulting ""salesman"". And that was the owner, Neal Berg. Mr. Berg brings a new low to the Used Car Salesman stereotype. Mr. Berg would be a used car salesman cliche if he had any charm. But minus the... view more charm, he was just a mean little dude with a bad attitude. Mr. Berg wouldn`t allow us to take the 12 year-old car to our mechanic before buying it. He said we should trust him. He actually said ""why... don`t you trust me?"" Riiiight. Do you really think you can trust a man like that to honor a warranty agreement? The thing is, if he`d been even moderately reasonable, I would have most likely bought the car. But he made the experience so wholly unpleasant that I didn`t want to own a car associated with him. Why on earth would anyone buy a car from these guys?

This place is awful

The salesman tried to tell me that Kelly Blue Book pricing meant nothing, that cars only cost what people will pay, was ver abrasive, and then told me that if he knew we wanted to bargain from the beginning he wouldn`t have wasted our time. The salesman was very pushy and rude. I quickly decided that even if they agreed to sell the car at my bottom-line, I wouldn`t have paid it. I didn`t want to do business with t... view morehese guys. I walked out and was followed out by the owner who then griped at me for my offer saying I was crazy. They boxed our car and gave us a lot of attitude (the owner included) for asking them to move it. Honestly, $5000 for a 98 Jeep with 134K miles, electrical problems, dents, a lot of scratches, and a HUGE gaping hole where a stereo used to be is a lot. Yet, Berg Car company feels that is a steal- and too low.

Berg is a bunch of Jerks!

These jerks park their cars in on the sidewalk preventing people with disabilities easy access to a safe sidewalk. I actually saw an older gentlemen waiting for 5-10 minutes for traffic to clear enough so he could enter Canyon Rd. and pass the 4 cars parked on the sidewalk. The lot is overcrowded because these guys are terrible salesmen. Maybe if they could sell a car they wouldn`t have to park in the damn sidewa... view morelk. Good experience for a car dealership.....

First off i have purchased alot of cars in my life and its usally a bad experience. I ended up seeing alot of adds for berg car co, and was recomened by a family member. When i went there i wasn`t so sure at first the parking was hard to find a spot but i wanted to see at certain car they had. It is a laid back place and spent a few hours with the some guy there and they actually gave me a free warranty on a $6500 c... view morear which was a first for me. I know 3 people that have got cars from there and they all like there vehicles so i would for sure recomend checking out Berg cars!
