Coming from a tool background and understanding how breaks, front end parts and suspension work i was very surprised at the non ethical up-selling they attempt on there customers. Not only are they unethical, someone riffled through my belongings while our vehicle was on there property (the back was locked when i dropped it off and locked when I returned - but someone went through all my personal items) it gets bet... view moreter - the repairs they made were very simple but I still had to return the vehicle and have it fixed bacause they didnt do it right (at least they admitted that)

Pressure beyond belief

my gf and I went in to get her tires rotated and they came back and told her that 2 of her tires needed to be replaced and the other 2 were barely at ``minimum tread depth``. He then told us how much it would cost Nd that was around $630. We didn`t have that kind of money so I began trying to talk wi my gf about asking her familynfornsome help and the guy behind the desk simultaneously started talking over me to conv... view moreince my gf to get some special financing program with them and using scare tactics and telling her that her tires were already on borrowed time and that they will definitely blow out within a week. We eventually left and went to a used tire shop in oc and the guy agreed that two tires needed to be rep,aced but the other 2 tires were perfectly fine! He got us 2 NEW tires and an alignment for 230. I will never return to firestone, way too much fast talking and pressure to ever get my return business.

Good Honest Auto Care

We took our car in for a lube and they didn`t try to "find" extra things on our car that "might need fixing." They do a quick, good job and their charges are comparative to other auto care dealers in the area.

good for minor repairs if u can`t drive far

honest shop. they informed me of all costs before commencing the work. very expensive: 89$ per hour. when they can`t fix something they don`t charge for trying. they found a leaking pinion seal on my car but could not replace it that same afternoon, so they just topped it off for free. it stopped leaking after that. better living through modern chemicals :-) relatively convenient location though, on bus line. i reco... view moremmend it for quick minor repairs. it is better than the overpriced bernard`s garage in milwaukie.
