hosed by hoesly
my check engine light came on. I was told that one of the oxygen sensors was out and the other one was `lazy` and they would recommend changing both. $700! I was not feeling well and needed to have my car for the weekend- they indicated that it wouldn`t be `safe` to drive`- so I said ok. Then I called a subaru repair shop who told me that that was very overpriced it should be closer to 225-250 per sensor and the ... view morereason that the second one was `lazy` was that the first one was not working- it you replace one, the second one works again! Also they let me know that the issue wasn`t safety, it was fuel efficiency. So I call hoesly back and asked them not to do it but they had started- but agreed just to replace the one. I thought it would be half the cost- no for just one to be replaced it was $565! Wow I feel hosed and will NEVER take my business there again and will let anyone who asks me know what I think.

Overpriced
Good price on an oil change. The staff seem very competent, friendly. Unfortunately I feel I was given a ridiculously high estimate for a 90,000 mile service on my car. Thankfully I went elsewhere for another quote and got the work done for less than half the cost. At the place I got the service done (a week later) I was told one of my spark plugs was floating in the engine oil. This was one of the things Hoesly`s ne... view moreglected to inform me of when they took a look at my spark plugs etc... makes me wonder why they wouldn`t have at least told me... or if they were negligent in their inspection and caused the spark plug to come loose in such a way? Not cool that I drove with it like that for at least a week. Regardless, I won`t be going back.

Superior Service, Good Prices
I`ve been thrilled with the service and work at Hoesly`s.
Working with Don and Bill in the front office has been great. They work with my budget and help me get critical repairs done now. I like the way they explain repairs that need to be made.
They`ve made accommodations when super busy to take care of a friend in an auto crisis.
I regularly refer to them with confidence for tires, maintenance and r... view moreepairs. You won`t be disappointed.

Over Priced
My daughter had some work done on her truck. I made the mistake of not shopping around. Got charged triple for installation over les swab on shocks. Low price on oil change but get charged for everything. Over $45.00 to change out 3 burnt out light bulbs. They advertise dealer work at a fraction of the price. Not true. Dealer price to install oxygen sensor was lower. Made the mistake of not shopping around. ... view more$50.00 shop add for shop supplies for what? Fifty bucks can buy alot of shop supplies.
