Pre-Purchase Inspection Not Worth the Money

I purchased a Mercedes Benz in Hillsboro today, and took it to Clay`s for an inspection. They were supposed to be the best in town. It cost $115. A 22 year old kid inspected my 32 year old car, and when he was done, a completely guy different guy read the first guy`s chicken scratch off of a piece of paper. When I asked the second guy questions, he didn`t have any answers, he hadn`t looked at the car. Great. No compr... view moreession test, I heard nothing about what they thought when they drove it, is the engine healthy, does it have any new parts, etc. What I paid Clay $115 for, I could have had done at Firestone for $20, and then taken my woman out to dinner. Do not get this service here.
