Husband took daughter`s car to...
Husband took daughter`s car to the Firestone place at Independence & old Hwy 51. They put the tire on so tight that 2 grown men could not get the flat tire off (daughter hit a HUGE rut and cut her tire). When husband complained all manager did was apologize & say "We put the tires on with machines according to the car manufacturer`s standards." What if you get stranded like my daughter did last nigh... view moret & not be able to change your own tire because you can`t get the tire off! Daughter weighs all of 90 lbs. If my husband & daughter`s friend`s dad could not get the tire off, how is a 90 lb girl supposed to??? The manager said to buy a torch wrench so husband bought one & it got the lug nuts loosened, but it cost $30.
This place needs to test the freakin lug nuts before the customer leaves the place to make sure a human can get the darn things loose! We wil NOT use them again!

unneeded recommendations
i took my car there because my car was jerking when coming from park to drive and overheating when sitting in lines or traffic. i was told that i needed a temp sensor and wiring bundle along with fuel flush costing me close to $4oo.oo when i left had another list of $1800.00 recommendations. was told the jerking on my car was brake calibre`s found another mechanic to charge $90 less to fix when took tires off to fi... view morex calibre`s was perfectly fine and the rotors was what need to be replaced which were $115 cheaper to buy. along with the rest of the list of things that were not needed...i feel that they try to take advantage of customers and meet sales quotas or bonuses.
