My name is Wesley, I had a shifting problem with my 2008 BMW and took it to the dealership. They checked it out and told me that I would need a transmission rebuild to fix the problem at a cost of 4800.00. I then had a friend 2 days later tell me about precision transmission specialists in Boone, NC so I gave them a call and explained over the phone to one of there techs what it was doing. They told me to bring it o... view moren down to them and they would check it on there computer and test drive it for free that alone was shocking to me, because i had just paid the dealer 159.00 to check it out when I arrived at Precision Transmission. Me and one of there very friendly techs took the car for a short ride, he then looked at me and said your transmission does not need to be rebuilt it has an electrical issue with a transmission solenoid. We then went back to there shop and they fixed the car in 2 hours for a cost of 381.00 parts and labor i have never been more happy with a mechanic shop in my life! I would highly recommend precision transmission to anyone just by talking to there techs on the phone and in person you can tell these boys really know what there doing and no doubt have plenty of experience.
