Will never go there again.
Took a car in for brake pads and resurface rotors (pretty easy job). Brakes squealed so bad I had to take it back in just a few days. They tried to tell me I just needed to drive it to ""break them in"" ... which is bull. They finally worked on them and they squealed less for a time. Then a couple of months later, the brakes started vibrating badly. Took the car back again. This time they said the rotors were t... view moreoo thin to resurface again and wanted to charge me another $250. No dice. I told them I actually know something about cars, and wasn`t buying it. Told them to button the car up and I`d open a complaint with BBB and whatever state agency regulates them. Suddenly, the rotors were okay to resurface and it was covered under warranty.
Find a good independent garage or take your car to the dealer (yeah, I know they charge 3 times as much). I`ll never take my car back to AAA (and I`m a AAA member).

Dishonest
I would not suggest taking your car here.

Perfectly satisfied
I`ve read several bad reviews of AAA and have no reason to doubt their validity. However, I wonder if unhappy customers are more likely to write the reviews. I`ve been a constant customer of AAACCC, first on AF Rd, and now the Atlantic Ave station after our move. AAA CCC has serviced and repaired 3 cars (one Nissan, two toyotas) for more than five years, and have done an excellent job at all times. We once had a fuel... view more filter relay replaced which failed within 48 hrs of replacement. AAA replaced it again at no charge. No problems since. They have courtesy delivery to and pick up from your work site. Also their staff are polite and professional.

NEVER EVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!
i have AAA so when i broke down on the side of the road, i naturally called them for a tow. my membership only gives me 3 free miles of towing and 30 free miles if you have it towed to a AAA care center. HUGE MISTAKE! they said the reason my car died was that it needed a tune up with spark plugs, hoses, filters, distributor cap and rotor which was $800. i agreed to pay that amount and picked it up at 5:00pm. it ... view moredied the next morning after only having driven it a total of 15 miles. they insisted on looking at it again in order for the warranty to cover it so i had it towed to them again and they told me that everything was pointing to the distributor. to replace it, they would only charge me for the part which was an additional $250. i told them there was no way they would get another dime of mine and i had it towed to my real mechanic who then diagnosed it as a cracked ignition coil ($215). i asked if i needed a new distributor and they said absolutely not! AAA car center obviously doesn`t know what they are doing and when i told them that they did not fix my car and i wanted to be reimbursed for $400, they refused. it is my mission to make sure no one ever goes to this shop. stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very helpful
AAA has been very helpful in planning trips for me. Their maps and tour books are A+. Do wish they would acknowledge their heritage as Carolinas Motor Club.
