No stars for this business. We purchased a 2006 dodge in 2007. Supposed to be new but the mileage read 268 miles. The manager , Junior said there was no rebate as he had gotten it. At the end of 2006 when the car hadn`t sold he made it look as if his mother had purchased the car and he claimed the rebate. His mother never owned the car. He says he does that all the time. He was bragging about it. Because it was near... view more Christmas we didn`t pay much attention to it. My husband started having problems with the brakes right away and a window would go down and wouldn`t close. The repair shop at the dealers could not repair either.
When we paid the car off early last year there was supposed to be an insurance refund. Only by repeated calls and faxing papers did we receive a measly $13.00 from Junior. We have not cashed the check. We moved out of state and had our brakes repaired by a dealer here. Another mechanic repaired our window.
We would never again deal with such an unreliable person as this.
We would advise anyone to never go to Outer Banks Chrysler Dodge, because sometimes new cars can be lemons when dealing with people of low intelligence.

We have been going to the oute...
We have been going to the outer banks for years on vacation. We had always heard not to go to the Jeep dealer because of thier service center. I have heard nothing good! But this summer we took our 2011 Jeep down and we had problems. I was not happy with having to go into that dealership. When we arrived I was pleased to see a all new staff, and things looked and felt differant. We were in and out in about 3 hours an... view mored they covered our repair under warranty. I have to say I was pleased and my opinion has changed about the place. Service was great and they really made us feel comfortable during a tense moment on our vacation. So hats off to you guys and I hope you continue to turn the place around. Its good to have a jeep dealer on the obx that you can trust !

Avoid at all costs!! I can onl...
Avoid at all costs!! I can only discuss the "service" center as I took my Jeep in for a simple transmission oil change. First I get told it will be a 1.5 hour wait. Since it was going to take so long I decided to have them also do a coolant flush since I was there anyway. Finally I see my vehicle enter the service bay they work on it finish and remove it from the bay. I see the mechanic bring my key... view mores in and mutter something under his breath about it being a "piece of (4 letter word for poo)" Ill admit, its old and not in great condition but its still mine. Eventually the guy at the counter comes forward so I can pay. Not only did they end up charging 135$ for a simple coolant flush they also waited until I was ready to pay before bothering to mention that they "couldn`t" do the transmission oil because they "didn`t have the parts". Now...I have been under my own Jeep. There are no parts needed. Just a plug that I can`t remove because it requires a special tool. That is just what happened to me personally. As I waited for my vehicle to be done. I saw several people come in only to be treated like trash by this guy who also decided to just ignore the ringing phone for most of the time.
Never again! I bought the tool needed and Ill just do it myself or go to the local Fast Lube place.
Complete waste of time and money. Ill throw my money in the ocean before spending it there again.

Avoid at all costs
I put my good faith in Junior the owner, and his staff to help me with my Jeep while on vacation. Not only did they not help at all, they made my vacation misrable. Having to constantly call for updates, only to hear a total lack of progress and being treated like a second class customer for being female and a Northerner was very frustrating.
Being put in the position to work with people who have a total disrega... view morerd for you vehicle and customer satisfaction was utterly disappointing. No wonder Jeep also gave them one star on their own website. Please do your self a favor, do not bother with these amateurs.
