I`ve been there twice. Once he worked on the car for 5 hours because there was a high-pitched squeak coming from the engine, I thought it was the power steering pump, and it turns out it was a leaky hose, and even after working on it all day he didn`t charge me anything because he said he didn`t really fix or replace anything, even though he solved the problem. The next time I thought I needed new shocks (the sprin... view moregs), and he attached these rubber stoppers that solved that problem too, and didn`t charge me for that either, because it took him 10 minutes, and he had the extra parts just laying around.
