Reviews:

Horrible service, incompetent technicians
I wish I`ve seen their reviews before going there. This is a horrible place and they will destroy your car - not fix it. They identified a problem with my car and charged me over $1000 to fix it. However, I could not drive a mile after I got it back and same problem came back. When I took it back to them, the original representative did not show up. Another representative agreed to look into it and fix for free of ... view morecharge. They never contacted me saying that the work was done, however, when I called they said it was ready for pick up. After I picked up the car, it stopped on the road the same day - had to tow it. They will charge you more than any other place and their incompetent technicians will damage your car more than fixing any problem it may have. Avoid them by all means, otherwise you could be in for an expensive lesson.

Beware this place
This shop gives AAA a bad name. I was excited when I found them, close to my home, and wanted them to be my shop of choice. They have found a number of ""expensive"" problems that were not problems. I have an automotive background and find their behavior disgusting. Even if you do use them, they are expensive. Their quote for 2 major repairs were higher than Hendrick`s Chevrolet. I think that puts things i... view moren perspective.

Rip off! Go to the Kildaire Farm location instead
I went in to get my brakes checked since I heard some squeaking. They ended up giving me a quote for $1630! This included front brake pads, rear brake pads and rotors, and $679 to replace the front control arms because they said my front wheel was jumping back when the car started. They warned me repeatedly that I shouldn`t be driving the car - the rear brakes were so bad and the control arm was moving so much that s... view moreomething could dislodge while I was driving. They told me I should have the car towed or get a ride. I got the distinct impression that they were trying to scare me into getting unnecessary work done. I walked out in shock.

I drove the car for two more days and took it to the other AAA Car Care center location on Kildaire Farm in Cary. They told me all I need to do is replace the rear pads and rotors - $349 - and never mentioned the control arm problem or tried to scare me into not driving the car! I trust the Kildaire Farm location a LOT more. $349 compared to $1630!!!

Do not take your car here to get fixed!
I will not even give them one star.. Was told needed a 750 dollar fix and they did not even diagnose the problem. If you are going to request something that needs fixed how about cleaning off the engine to know were a potential leak is coming from. I only went in for an oil change. I think they need to inflate their numbers to compete with the other AAA sites. AAA is good but don`t go get a repair at one of their ... view morerepair shops. Not unless you like getting screwed out of your hard earned money. I guess they thought they were talking to someone that knew nothing about cars. Just a warning to all Cary residents.

Dirty, and Over-Priced!!!
I`ve had my car maintenance and repairs done at the Morrisville AutoMark for sometime now...but no more! The facility has become absolutely filthy! Grease and dirt everywhere. (not talking about the shop area...I know that`s going to get dirty). But the condition of the facility tells a person a lot about the staff...and this one tells me they don not care!!! I was overcharged by 200% on parts, my last tw... view moreo repairs (I checked prices with 2 other shops). I do not mind paying a little extra for getting good service, but the Service is no longer there!

AAA Car Care Center @Kildaire farms is horrible!!
AAA Car Care Center is Awful! They always try and find something to fix with the normal oil change and persuade to do it then to charge extra lot for it. Never get your tires changed here, discount tire or tire rack website gives sweet deal for exact same brand tires. AAA auto care seems very greedy. They advice to change some of the things which can be avoided for some more time.

Stay away from them
My experience with this auto shop is a nightmare. My first business with this shop was a tune-up with a 98 Honda Accord. The salesperson then came out with a long list of recommendations. I felt none of them were necessary, but agreed to have my sparkplugs replaced. However, I did not realize at the time this would be the beginning of my nightmare. About three months later, the emission system failure light went... view more on when I was driving on Interstate 95 near Richmond. I went back to the shop, and the salesperson told me that my car had the wrong type of sparkplugs, and that caused the failure of my catalytic converter. I must replace the converter and all the sensors, and that was estimated to be $2000. Then I told them the sparkplugs were replaced by them just a few months ago. The salesperson then turned to his manager, and then the manager said the sparkplugs were compatible, the catalytic converter failed because it was old. Is that true? I don?ˆ™t believe them, my Honda Accord only had 120000 miles, and the original converter is supposed to last the life span of the car. Anyway, I spent over $1800 to replace the converter and sensors.

Yesterday, I took the same car to this shop to do a winter ready service and state inspection. They suggested the flush the radiator and I agreed. Several hours later, the salesperson called me saying my radiator hoses are leaking, and they suggested replacing the hose and thermostat, which cost over $500. I went to the shop and found some stains of coolant on the engine block, but the hose looked OK, no a single microcrack can be found on the surface. I decided to let them to replace the hose, but not the thermostat since the latter works fine. 15 minutes later, the salesperson called my again, saying the radiator hose connector had a crack and needs to be replaced, and there will be an extra charge of over $450. I did not trust them any more and rejected. When I went to the shop, they showed me a piece of falling hose connector. The fracture surface looks new, suggesting that the connector was newly damaged when they tried to remove the old hose or install the new one. They managed to attach the hose to the remainder of the radiator hose connector; I had to pay them over $300 for the service, and pay another $400 to replace the radiator elsewhere.

Plan to do services in this shop? Think it again, if you stay there for a couple of years, you could end up with paying twice the cost of a new car and getting an old car with all parts replaced.

Review Directly Below is a FAKE !!!!
The Reviews below by RJL1856 and 99hondagirl are were both posted from the same IP address and are obviously FAKE.

This is a prime example of what WRAL will be reporting on tomorrow night. e.i. ....Fake Reviews to bloster or degrade businesses.

The best thing to do... visit the shop and talk to the folks waiting on their vehicles. Tehy will be more than happy to tell you how satisfied they are.

Nothing but good experiences for me
I`m just going to guess that the negative reviews posted below are from the competitors across the parking lot. I say this because their parking lot is practically empty every time I take one of our cars into service at AutoMark. We have used AAA AutoMark for about two years now and have never had cause to mistrust them. Quite the opposite indeed. The folks across the road need to understand that you cann... view moreot build your business by trying to belittle your competition. There is plenty of service work to be performed in Wake County... if you just provided quality service as does AutoMark, you would get your share of the pie!

Don`t go!
Took my 99 honda to this establishment because it carried the AAA name and I thought it would be trustworthy and have good service. AAA should take their name off this establishment and that is where my next letter will go. went n complaining of my malfuntion light on, was told it was the EGR valve as well as needing a tune up. With my AAA discount the cost was over $1000. Yes you read that right....$1000. I went... view more home and did some research. The valve is about $90 and labor anywhere from $75 to $100 /hour. Most people reported paying around $385 to $400!! So I called my grandpa and told him the story, he called the place he uses, the guy came to cary from kinston and towed my car to kinston and I am still going to save around $600.
I think what upset me more than being overcharged however was when my grandpa went in the business to get my keys they handed him the keys and told him he would have to search the lot and find the car!!
Now I am going to send a letter to the better business bureau and to AAA, It is one thing to try to rip people off but they were just plain rude and ugly. If I could give zero stars I would. 1 star is too many!

I hope they go out of business.
