Trustworthy people

I went there for diagnostics only, with the full intention of doing the work myself (not because they`re bad...it`s just cheaper using my own labor these days :). They put my car on the lift and showed me what the problem was and recommended the parts I needed to repair it. They also discovered that my tires were ""directional"" tires and that they were not mounted properly and fixed that for free. With their d... view moreiagnostic and recommendations, I ordered the parts (2 axles) and installed them myself. I believe they are knowledgeable people with good intentions. I`d definitely go there again.

Don`t waste your time or money

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but since I can`t I guess one will be okay since we got an appointment fairly quickly. We took our van to Carroll`s Tire and Auto because it was not running well and the ABS light was on. After running their version of a diagnostic (just driving the vehicle), we were told that there was nothing wrong with the van. We took the van to another mechanic, and there were several p... view moreroblems with the braking system, which were found quickly once a true diagnostic was run. Although this shop is close to our home, and the other is about thirty minutes away, we will never again go to Carroll`s, no matter how minor the issue.

beware

The garage may not have the ability to fix your car because in their own words they don`t have some expensive equipment they need. They will try though and charge you for it because they ""don`t work for free"" so they say. The problem is they still want to keep your money even though they could end up referring you back to the dealer or another garage to complete the work. This place is definately a ripoff ! They charged me almost $650.00 to replace / repair fan motor / sending unit in my Jeep Grand Cherokee . He said most of the cost was labor because the front bumper / grill had to come off to get to it ( Lie ) ! My battery also died after stopping at store just a few miles away & I called him . He said to bring it in & he would test it for me. I explained the situation &... view more he said that he could only check it if I brought it in ! This guy needs to get some manners & a nicer personality ! Anyway,I checked the boltheads on the bumper,ect. & they were never touched with a wrench ! This problem reoccured about 8 mos. later. I took it to another mechanic . He took the 4 bolts out on top of the fan shroud & the whole unit - fan, motor & all out in a matter of about 3 mins. & repaired it for $90.00 ! I`ve also heard of other bad experiences about this place , so BEWARE people ! I realize that everyone needs to earn a living & I work hard for my money , but I HATE being taken advantage of & want to inform you folks about this business !!!

Recommend this shop to EVERYONE!

Honesty, courtesy, knowledgeable professionalism-- what more could you ask for? Justin and Mark will tell you up front what your vehicle NEEDS. I`ve taken both my cars there (radiator replacement for one and engine check light on the other) and they quoted me $1300 less than a AAA service center! Take your vehicle there; you won`t regret it.

great auto repair

if you need auto repair, this is the place to go. I have worked with them several times and never felt ripped off. They are fair and honest, nuff said.
