This has to be one of the most amazing muffler shops ever. I went in, said a couple a words, and they knew exactly what needed to be fixed. Once the car was in the air, he told be what had happened and how the car quit. It was like he was a forensic expert that would testify in a court case on Law & Order. He said it would take 30 minutes, it took 25. The price was less than half what I was quoted elsewhere. They scheduled me quickly, had the parts at the shop and their pricing was the best in Raleigh. I searched for days and they charged me a percentage of what I could find elsewhere. They were very nice and extremely accommodating. I will use them for all of my repairs from now on.

Fast, affordable, and HONEST

I don`t normally write reviews, but I just had to say something about this place.

The catalytic converter went bad in my Honda, so I had taken it to another shop (just a general mechanic place). That place quoted me at $780.00 to fix it and they were trying to add on all this crazy stuff and sell me tires, etc... A mechanic from that place pulled me aside and suggested I go to Bobs Muffler shop.

They had everything fixed in 30 minutes, for $248 out the door, and no one tried to sell me a bunch of stuff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place, and I only wish they did more than just mufflers because I would take my car there for everything if I could.

Easy on your budget and quality repairs- Bob`s Muffler

I operate an independent Honda and Toyota repair shop in the Garner, NC area. I recommend Bob`s Muffler to my customers quite often. The P0420 and other catalytic converter below threshold codes are common and not all customers can afford the OEM repair options. If this is the case I always recommend this shop and my customers have always been happy with Bob` muffler.

Don`t get ripped off, take your car to Bob`s

I`ve been to bob`s 3 times now. I have a subaru WRX and my aftermarket muffler developed a tremendously loud and annoying rattle. The manufacturer wouldn`t replace the unit under warranty and no other shop would do the job for under 500 bucks. However, a friend of mine recommended Bob`s and they welded me a universal replacement muffler that I bought for 60 bucks and charged me only 35 dollars to do the work. ... view moreIt sounds better than the original part did and since then, I`ve been back to Bob`s for a couple other custom jobs. No questions asked, just quality work, fast service, reasonable price and no hassle. For custom work or simple muffler/exhaust repairs, don`t dare take your car elsewhere.

Great service, price

Found review on this site and stopped by to see if they could fit me in. Within a couple minutes, had my car in the (short) queue and a great price. Nice, easygoing folks who act like they want your business. If you need muffler work, THIS is your place!

Excellent Experience

I got an estimate from a car shop on Fayetteville Rd, near Wake Tech for $310. To be fair to this shop, the gentleman who waited on me suggested I go to a muffler shop to get the exhaust work done. I looked up ""muffler Raleigh"" on google and the first name to appear was Bob`s Muffler Shop. Honest, Cheap, and Fast

I came here on a recommendation from a family member. My car was suddenly very loud and I assumed it was the muffler. I took it to two muffler shops and was told I needed a new muffler assembly for $450 and $250. I then tried Bob`s muffler on the recommendation, and within two minutes of looking at my car they said that the pipe connecting to my muffler was broken, and they would fix it for 50 bucks. Great prices, fast service - was highly recommended

Wow! This shop was recommended by Fast Lube Plus in Cary when my `94 Camry failed inspection because of a leak around the flex pipe and catalytic converter. Bob`s quote was over 40% less than a major muffler chain quoted. Although it was further away, it was worth every minute and mile. Great service and prices

I recommend this shop to everybody, The guys in the shop are so helpful and honest. I was told by another shop that I needed work done to my car that was estimated at 400.00 more than was needed. I did`nt need to replace the whole exhaust as I was told at another shop but only the parts that were bad. I saved 175.00 $ . It is so nice to find a place that you can trust what they tell you.
