Salesmen can`t keep their facts (or lack thereof) straight. Went in to look at particular car. Asked questions and then left. Came back the next day and lets go through what was done or said: ran my credit without my permission, said I had look at a car the night before and had never seen it, and finally, that a "new" car that was a demo model had much lower mileage than it really had. I took my Cadillac CTS in beca...
I took my Cadillac CTS in because of a horrible sulphur smell. I assumed it was a bad battery which has a 6 year warranty and was only 2 1/2 years old. I was told, it`s not the battery, it`s the alternator and they wanted $820 to put a new one in. I said no and was charged $80 for their diagnoses. I go up to Advance Auto. The battery was the problem. I put a new battery in and they test the system and alternator was ... view morejust fine. It`s charging around 14.5 to 14.7 volt with the car running. I had just had Brown & Wood install a new DIM (dashboard integrated module) the week prior because of the security system issues and that`s what they said it was. Now I`m second guessing that $500 is spent with them. The security system issues could have been caused by a low battery.

absolutely disappointed!!! I had to place a call into the general manager before the service manager would call back,,,, there are other places to get service done, I would go to the other places.

I can`t say...
I can`t say that I`ve been here, but I will say that the whole discriminated against a student thing seems pretty baseless to me. There was nothing in that review that sounded like discrimination at all. Maybe they were just being mean because the reviewer was making a pest of himself. Just a thought.

Brown & Wood
I heard great things about Brown & Wood so I took my car there for some small repair work. So I picked up my car 5 hrs later while sat across the street at the Texas Steakhouse. The guy told me the work would be done 1 hr later. I called, he was gone at lunch, so I left a message. 2nd time, I left a message. No one ever called me back until 5:30 that evening- when I thought they were closed! Needless to say- th... view moreey didnt fix the problem, doesnt look like they tried to attempt it, left grease all over my gear shifts. I was so mad that they didnt attempt to fix my car- I went up there, the big boss wasnt there. I called and left a message and no one called me back. I know not everything can be fixed immediately- but I do know that you should call someone when something is promised, and that the manager and owner should have called me back. Im not even that mad that they didnt call me back when promised, or that I couldnt get a manager- but more for wasting my time. I totally feel like they blew me off thinking I was a college student- so I wouldnt go there, and I wouldnt advise anyone else to go- especially students. They didnt care about me or worry if I would send them business again because they knew I wasnt going to be there forever. Im in med school here, so Ill be here for awhile.
