Have you ever watched a manager get berated by a customer and want to plummet the customer?

Sometimes the customer is not right.

Generally happy people do not post reviews it is generally the unsatisfied that post reviews.

We have five older cars that have visited this location of Merchant Tires. Every time we have walked away impressed at the outstanding service--both on the personal level but ... view morealso regarding the work being done on our cars.

We have had all sorts of work done. New tires--a breeze. Fried electrical harnesses--fixed perfectly! Messed up temperature sensors--splendid and beautifully repaired.

You know how surgeons like to wait till the end of surgery to let friends and family know how things are going? Well that is not the case at this Merchant`s Tire...all through the work on our cars, they kept us informed of timing and costs.

Did i mention that the prices are reasonable? Compared to other quotes we get, this location is very fair and affordable.

Often people want something for nothing and are eager to criticize when they lack the ability to understand that certain cars have more expensive parts or they only okay minimal repair and expect premium return on that band-aid repair.

I am very impressed

Took our 2005 Ford Explorer in. Had no clue why we could not get an alignment situation corrected and needed an overall look over and an oil change. They were quick, well educated and contacted be via phone to tell me their findings and after I gave the go ahead, they completed the issues very quickly and the truck feels GREAT! Ripoff Poorwork Never go there!!!

I was off on Sunday and didn`t have any place to go, a friend of me told me Merchant Auto open on Sunday so I give them a tried, what a horrible service! The guy first told me it won`t cost me that much but when I return ended up costing me over $300!! Damaged my car but REFUSE to PAY for it!!!

This location damaged my 2005 Nissan Maxima (which until that point had over 100K miles and had NEVER been in so much as a fender-bender). The technician changing the oil backed my car into another customer`s car when trying to take it back out of the bay. The manager (Ha Nygn I believe) told me when I came to pick up the car that an accident had happened and that they would take care of fixing it. He made a notation... view more on my receipt, took some pictures and told me to get a couple of estimates. It took me many, many months to return with them due to my work schedule (my delay). But ever since I came into the location with the estimates months ago, Merchant`s has given me the run around and REFUSES to return my calls, acknowledge the claim in any way, or make payment!!!!

I was told I would have a check for the average between the two estimates in 4-6 weeks. When over 6 weeks had passed with no word and no check, I called the Hwy 70 location only to find out Ha was no longer at that store and had apparently never filed my claim with corporate. It took weeks of phone calls to get the new manager to finally tell me he had submitted it (but he wouldn`t provide any information or claim number, other than a general corporate phone number to call. He`s been completely unwilling to take responsibility for seeing this issue resolved, just tells me to call corporate.

Escalations to their corporate office have been more than useless. All you can reach is a customer service rep or CSR supervisor with no power to connect you to anyone who can answer any questions. All they can do is take my information and apologize that no one is getting back to me. I FINALLY received one phone call from a supposed regional director for Merchants (Ron McClure?) who said he would investigate my claim and promised me a call back in 2 - 3 days. It`s now been close to another 3 weeks later, with no word, and my calls are ignored. It`s obvious that these are delay and stall tactics to avoid paying for the damage.

AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH MERCHANTS TIRE AT ALL COST! They will not make good on anything they accidentally damage on your vehicle and will lie to you repeatedly. They apparently have no interest in customer satisfaction, let alone doing the right and ethical (not to mention) legally correct thing in this situation.

I guess it`s time to get my attorney involved, which is ridiculous considering there wasn`t any question of fault to begin with. But now they don`t want to pay up for the $1,400 worth of damage done to my car!!!

Poor work

These dudes lied to me about the time they would have my car ready! I was told it would only take 2 hours but it later turned into 5 HOURS! Plus these guys tried to over charge me for parts that I later found out they got from next door (Pep Boys). Over priced waste of time

Pressure sales combined with incompetence. Took them 3 days to realize they couldn`t inspect my car because they lacked the proper equipment.
