Beware...we drove from Greensboro to Raleigh to view a car they had on their website as low miles, etc. they were all smiles selling us the car; reassured us the car had been repaired properly; claimed their "Mom" had driven it for 6 months in NJ without a problem; they were forthcoming disclosing it had a salvage title &we signed `as is` document.Our big mistake in not taking it to a mechanic; instead we believed ... view morethese two cons...Mr.Toufiles & Mr. Stegg. 4 days later took car (we live in Greensboro) to have it looked over for routine maintenance & inspection (since Fast Lane did not provide an inspection slip in docs). Triad Auto of GSO came out to tell me the car is a wrecked car never fixed properly. If we are in accident, everything on right side under the hood will wind up midways of the car. We were shocked. Took it to a 2nd respected independent body shop guy in GSO Romans 8:36. He said we are driving a wrecked car. Both repair shops said it is the worst they have ever seen, seams never welded back, important engine parts just sitting there, right front tire sits back 1/4" from the left front tire & on and on.Now, these cons are holding hostage the license tag & title. DMV cannot help. I have talked to GSO and Raleigh inspectors. Let this experience help you decide to NOT do business with these characters. Today Oct 10 2013,Mr. Toufiles called me screaming that we caused THEM trouble because we called DMV asking where is tag & title (Because we didn`t have a clue & we bought the car on 9/21/13 and it is now 10/10/13) Mr. Toufiles screamed that he will "not help you out ma`am, because you cause us trouble!) We caused them trouble? we have an itemized estimate of cost to bring the car up to being safe to drive ... $3100. These people are small time & do not care about the customer, only the money they can make off you. We will be calling WFMY News channel and ask for them to open an investigation on Fast Lane Motors of Raleigh so others can become knowledgeable before they buy a vehicle from there.
