Reviews:

Bayleaf TIre & Auto had a great reputation under its previous ownership when these other posts were made, but unfortunately the current Harris ownership does not stand behind its work. They refuse to refund services even when they acknowledge the work was not properly completed, leading to further damage. Sad to see such a good reputation ruined by the questionable ethics of this new ownership.

HONEST RELIABLE & AFFORDABLE
Don`t be FOOLED by FOOLS. The people who criticize one company are the ones who criticize EVERY company. They never have anything good to say about anyone. This company is one of the most honest auto repair shops around. I have a judgement against another vehicle place, who lied and cheated me out of money. I won`t ever trust another place as much as I trust Bayleaf Auto.

BAYLEAF AUTO does it right, big or small.
I recently took my Northstar engine Cadillac to Bayleaf Auto Repair to have headgaskets changed. The repair requires the complete removal of the engine and transmission from the car, a job which most privately owned repair shops will not even touch. I consider myself a ""carguy"" and fairly knowlegable about cars and both owners Linda and Joe answered all my questions going into the job. I was very satisfied with ... view morethe work done and the time it took to do it. What probally impressed me most was the clean condition of the car when it was returned, which in my opinion is a reflection of the care taken in doing the repair.

I also have a 79 classic car which had a engine hesitation issue. Joe personally took the time to diagnose a problem that required a $8.00 part to repair. I`ve owned similar cars for 20 years a no repair shop has been able to or more importantly has taken the time to make this repair. I was so satisfied I bought bagles for the whole crew the next day (being from NYC I knew they would appreciate this.) Highly Recommended.

Honesty is a hard trait to find, but my mechanic`s got it!
I am a regular at Bayleaf and I always know that I am getting quality service. The technicians are very honest and helpful. When there is something wrong with my car, one of the tech`s sit down with me and explain exactly what is wrong, and if the repairs are necessary. I have been to other repair shops and have not gotten the quality service that I have received at Bayleaf. Now it`s the only place I go to for qualit... view morey, fast service, and the only place I will ever go! I definitely recommend them if you are looking for an honest mechanic; they are extremely hard to find now-a-days!

Honest competant service with fair prices
My first dealings with this shop was for an intermittant problem with my pick up. Occassionally it would momentarily
lose power and then go back to normal. I spent a fortune on the shotgun approach changing parts that might be bad and
had several people look at it to no avail. I took a chance and tried here. They ran a diagnostics and found a bad oxygen sensor and changed it. It`s been a few years and that pr... view moreoblem has not returned. I`ve been taking both my vehicles there ever
since. They always do their best to accomidate my scheduling
needs. They employ first rate mechanics and Joe (of Joe and
Linda-the owners) is a very honest experienced mechanic
himself. Both my vehicles are thirteen years old and I`ve had
some oddball problems with both. So far they`ve successfully
tackled every challenge I`ve thrown their way. They`re right
off of Six Forks Rd about two miles North of I-540 and just a
few hundred feet North of where Durant and Six Forks meet.
If anyone out there is in need of a good mechanic, I think they are definetly work giving a try. I did and I`ve been going back
ever since.
