We drove from Central Virginia (over 200 miles), not knowing anything about the area, with the goal of purchasing a vehicle, provided the price was right. One of our stops was Bill Smith Mazda. We test drove a Mazda3 and liked it so much that we wanted to discuss price, which took less than 5 minutes to get. The reason I mention this it that our experience from other dealerships required the salesman to come and go m... view moreultiple times, filling out of paperwork, and answering a litany of questions when all we wanted to know was the price. We made it clear, to Bill Smith Mazda, that we wanted to know the very best price so could make an informed decision. The price offered was lower than other Mazda dealerships that we had previously visited. Nonetheless, we still wanted to sleep on it. That night, me and my wife discussed how we were impressed by the sales force (our salesman was Dan). They LISTENED to our needs, did not try to apply pressure, did not try to tell us what a wonderful deal we were getting (let us think for ourselves), they did not demean the competition, they were friendly, courteous, and respectful. The bottom line is that they were very pleasant to work with, and we felt the way we were treated would have been the same whether we purchased the car or not. We purchased a new Mazda3 the next day. Each member of the sales team (even though Dan had made the sale) worked TOGETHER to expedite the purchase (credit checks, lining up a tow dolly, getting the vehicle ready, tags, and all the paper work involved). We felt good about our purchase knowing that all of our concerns and questions had been addressed. These guys were sincere and up front, meaning that if they didn?ˆ™t know the answer, they would level with me, but also continue to do their homework until my question/ concern had been addressed to my satisfaction.
