Reviews:
**This is a review for the SERVICE Department at the Carolina Chrysler Dealer.
Short version:
- Poor customer service
- Unable to keep a schedule
- Incompetent technicians
Long version:
The first time I took my car here for a simple oil change, we scheduled a time and I promptly dropped it off and anticipated to wait the half hour or so until it was complete and then be on my way back to work. Wrong. Th... view moreey wouldn`t start on my car at my scheduled time, and had no good excuse at to why not. They told me the shuttle could take me back to work, even though I work on the Coast Guard base, they assured me the driver was able to get through security and get on base. Wrong. We get to the gate and the driver didn`t even have his drivers license with him. I had to bother a coworker to come pick me up at the gate, as well as drop me off back at the shop after work. I typically like to schedule regular maintenance for Saturdays so I don`t have to take time off work for something so trivial, but this shop will not do even a basic oil change on a Saturday -- so tell me why they are even `open` on a Saturday?? Finally I took my car in for something more, I told them all my concerns over the phone when I made the appointment and they said ok no problem. So as I`m sitting and waiting for them to tell me what`s wrong, they come out and tell me that they looked at the one problem but they can`t look at the other problem because that guy isn`t working today -- it was a windsheild washer fluid pump, any tech should be able to look at that. Ridiculous. Don`t waste my time by making me make two appointments for something that should be able to be done in one. Lastly, again with the basic oil change, the technician tightened the plug too tight causing my oil pan to crack and my car to die on me on the highway. I was towed to a different Chrysler dealer (I had already given up on Carolia Chrysler), and the new shop confirmed this was directly related to my last oil change. Carolina Chrysler ended up agreeing to pay for parts but I still had to pay for the labor, for something that THEY did, that ended up ruining my engine, among other things, and totaling my car. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away from here.
