Beware! I took my Nissan in for an oil change, was told I needed brake flush, coolant flush and an air filter replaced, fine. When I picked up my car from having these services done, I was told I had a hole rusted through my exhaust manifold and it would be very expensive to repair ("couple thousand dollars") and I should take it to a shop like Midas and it could be done much cheaper. Leaving this service... view more appointment, my car was making a new, constant, very loud humming noise. I called the warranty company and learned that this repair would be covered under my warranty. I called the service department back and was questioned about when/where I bought my car because they did not know I had a warranty, apparently they use a different warranty company. The service provider did not offer to bring my car back for repair and quickly got off the phone. When I called back, I was given the run-around "oh, Mike helped you before, he`s at lunch and will call you back," which never happened. I called again the next day asking for the manager and was then allowed to make an appointment. When I brought my car in, with my warranty, I was told there was not a problem with my manifold ("you told your warranty company you had a hole in your manifold, that`s not true"), that a flange had broken or rusted and that was not covered under the warranty. I asked them not to do anything else. When I picked up the car, it was making a new rattling noise. I took it to a mechanic recommended by a coworker. Upon taking a cursory glance under the car and hearing the noise, he tells me not to return there, "they have disconnected your exhaust and broken the flange and it will need to be welded." This is from a guy that had no stake in the car, he had already told me he doesn`t work on Nissan`s but would refer me to someone else. I am totally disappointed this MJ Nissan place was dishonest and crooked!

GREAT PARTS DEPARTMENT!! Afte...
GREAT PARTS DEPARTMENT!! After several trips to aftermarket parts houses, I was beginning to think I was out of luck on getting a part for my 2005 Altima. I called Michael Jordan Nissan and not only did the parts person know exactly was I was talking about, he had it in stock. The gentleman was very friendly and knowledgeable. ""SHADY"" SERVICE at MICHAEL JORDAN NISSAN
PLEASE explain to me how the same service technician that worked on your truck for (2) days and STILL does/can not diagnosis the orginial concern you had or better yet still have when you first brought it in?? INCOMPETENT would be the first word that comes to mind but then still charges you a damn arm and (2) legs!! I would think that the Service Manager would intervene at some point as he saw that I am DISSATISFIED ... view morewith my service. Since Michael Jordan has continued to IGNORE me, maybe now they can understand the word CORPORATE OFFICE complaint!! AWESOME DEALER
WOW. That`s all I have to say. Took my car there when no one elso could fix it. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews but a friend had recommended them. From the time I walked in the door they were friendly and talked to me like I had been coming there for years. They fixed my problem and sent me on my way in less than one hour. Incompetent Service Department
Michael Jordan dealership diagnosed a noise coming from the right front wheel of my 2002 Maxima as worn shocks and struts--total cost about $2000. A second opinion from an independent garage fixed the problem, a broken splash shield, for $116. Need I say more about the dealership? Just stay away from them!

Service Department Is Suspect
I have taken my Nissan to MJ Nissan for over two years. My last visit was the straw that broke the camel`s back. I won`t return. In the past, service staff told me I needed to replace nearly new tires--then backtracked when I responded with the truth--and recommended I replace my catalytic converter for an emissions problem that ultimately self corrected.
This week I was shocked with an almost $3,000 bill ove... view morer a transmission leak for which we have never seen evidence. I was not provided a copy of my written estimate before repair nor was the proposed total verbally communicated. When I asked for a copy of my written estimate upon payment, random figures appeared on several different columns and no total was calculated. Given MJ Nissan`s history, we have serious questions over whether that level of work was even necessary.
MJ Nissan just lost a return customer. Despite the convenience offered by taking your car to a well established dealer, I recommend you go elsewhere.
