5 Points automax is the worst place to buy a car from

My husband and I went to automax to buy our first car. We were new to the town actually new to the military as well. We moved here with no vehilcle and no form of transportation. A friend recommended automax to us, they had just recently bought a car from them with low payments and they were willing to take the payments on allotments. It sounded great so we went and bought a 2002 dodge durango from them. It ... view moreseemed great because we had little to no credit and only a couple thousand down. Well when we got approved and were able to drive home that day in the car we were extactic. A month passed and all of a sudded our transmission went out in the durango. We called up the dealership and they said that it wasn`t there problem it was ours now. So we ended up dishing out $2500 to fix our tranny. Then we got a call and our friends who recommended us to them the exact same thing happened to them. After we got the tranny fixed little things started going wrong with our durango which ended up turning into big things. We have only had the durango for a year in a half and we already have to junk it and we still owe on it. (we paid way more than it was worth, our fault we should have looked more into it.) I would never recommened this dealership to anyone. These people are out to screw anyone they can just to make and extra dollar.
