Reviews:
This is a great story. Please, read all of it!
While vacationing in OBX, my car`s alternator died. I found these guys, saw the great review and went for it. The tow truck driver tried to talk me out of going here, and I should have listened.
I`ll admit, the fix took only a day and a half and the price wasn`t that bad, I guess.
Then the fun started. About a week after returning from vacation, I noticed a knocking... view more under the hood. It was subtle at first, but then it grew. I had my mechanic take a look. He literally popped the hood, didn`t even bend over to look, pointed at the back of the engine and said, "There`s your problem."
There is a valve that has something to do with the catalytic converter that sits directly over the alternator. The hose going into the valve had not just come loose; the valve was broken in half. You could just see where someone had lifted the alternator out and broke the valve in the process. And here?ˆ™s the kicker: what looked like gorilla glue was clumped all over the broken pieces of the valve. (refer to pictures, notice the glue that dripped down to the engine cover)
I asked my mechanic if that was an adequate fix. He just laughed. Even if it was what you are supposed to do when such a valve is broken, these guys didn?ˆ™t say a word about how they had broken a completely different part. It makes wonder if that is why the price was so reasonable.
But I?ˆ™m not done. So, I called them back and explained the situation, asking for some kind of compensation. The guy immediately insisted that the part broken was nowhere near the alternator. (calling me a liar?) After some arguing, he told me he would look up my info in his system and call me back. That was months ago, and I haven?ˆ™t heard a word.
Look, I?ˆ™m not trying to be mean or anything. I?ˆ™m just telling my story.
Tourists beware!

Top Notch
My Expedition blew a spark plug right when we pulled in to start our vacation. I called them at 8:00 AM and had my car back at 2:00 PM, running like a champ! The service people are exceptional and very knowledgable. If you`re stuck, I highly recommend you give them a call!

BAD BUSINESS
Do not purchase a car here. They do not sell cars in the condition as stated on the website.
the car they sold me very shady title was not even in the business name nor any workers/ owners name.
engine has a knock starts very hard abs light came on they reset the comp. said it was fine due to they changed the brakes, but the brakes need to be changed you can here metal on metal when stoping???? hmm can we say not ... view morechaned
Low fluid light never shuts off either only after comp. reset. but then returns. tail lights have a short (keeps blowing blubs)
car had no radio.had the car looked at by another mechanic he said I was taken for a ride. and now I quote their web site as writing by them
" We have a very high standard for the vehicles we sell. Our goal is to sell people affordable and reliable cars, trucks, and vans. We feel that if the vehicle is not good enough to put one of our own in, then we would not sleep at night if we sold it to someone else. We also know that sometimes life can get hard but if you are in need a vehicle, then that is not something that should suffer, so we offer very flexible finance rates, so that when you put out money for a vehicle you know that you have something you can trust. All of our vehicles for sale are bumper to bumper serviced so you know they are good to go!"
I did not receive that in my car. they still sleep fine
