Terrific and fair!!
Every now and then Crawford`s will have a car on the lot for sale that they worked on. I was not familiar with them but a good male friend of mine was and highly recommended any car they have. I wanted an inexpensive and dependable car and they had a 1999 Toyota Camry they had worked on and were selling. I liked it and purchased it and they were wonderful!!! Check engine light came on and I called and they said b... view morering back and they will fix it. I highly recommend Crawford`s for being good, fast, honest and fair!!!

Best Service Around! You won`t regret it!
I can honestly say after reading all of these reviews! I am absolutely prepared to say that anyone who dares to give Crawford`s a bad reputation need not do so for they do not deserve it. My mother has been taking her car to them for the last two years and every time, we get friendly service and a cheap bill! Crawford`s takes the time to pinpoint the problem and not stop till it is fixed! :) They know what they are d... view moreoing and I would refer them to anyone. You pay way less than what a dealership would charge you! You won`t be disappointed if you take your car here! We absolutely love these guys that work there! :) I will continue to take my car there is I ever have any problems!

Good service and fair business dealings
My family has been using Crawford for nearly ten years, since our neighbors told us about the ""garage just down the road"" that they had been happy with. We`ve been satisfied customers ever since, bringing a succession of cars to them for both routine maintenance and occasional unexpected automotive disasters large and small.
I read the other reviews, and I have to say this from my personal experiences and p... view moreoint of view. No garage - or any other business run by actual human beings, for that matter - is unfailingly perfect and anyone is capable of a mistake. Certainly over the years there have been a time or two when they missed something, or we had to work through a complex service problem (we have one car that likes to periodically have a difficult-to-reproduce flaky electrical system problem, for example) that isn`t easily dealt with by a wave of the magic wand (or wrench, or whatever).
The measure of a business, to me, is how they respond to such occurances, and of course how often they happen. Jason and the team at Crawford have always been straight up with us, always taking responsibility on the rare occasions a mistake was made, and they have NEVER failed to make it right in a fair and equitable way. They have been flexible and responsive to our occasional automotive emergencies; they`ve charged what always felt like a fair price, and more than a time or two advised -against- a repair they considered a bad risk/benefit even though it would be to their short-term financial advantage to cajole us into it.
As a total NON-gear-head, ultimately I have to depend on a shop that keeps my family (including two teenage girls) on the road safely and reliably. Crawford fits the bill.
I`m sure that, over the next ten years, we`ll have a situation again where someone makes a human error. The key point is that I am 100% confident that it will be corrected in an appropriate way, and I will be treated fairly. And that`s why we`ll keep going back for another decade...

Best local auto shop
My husband and I have been taking cars to Crawford Complete Auto for 20 years and have always been pleased with their professional yet friendly service.
They have gone the extra mile diagnosing and repairing our Ford, Pontiac, Saturns, and Hondas, and they are by far the most honest and straightforward folks I`ve ever dealt with at any auto repair business (or any other business for that matter). They don`t do ... view moreany unnecessary or unwanted repairs, and if they make a mistake they own up to it and make it right.
When my single young girlfriend was buying a used vehicle, I sent her to Crawford Complete Auto to get a pre-purchase inspection because I knew they would treat her well. They let her know about a couple of things she should have the dealer fix as a condition of purchase.

Great Service!
I`ve been taking my cars to Crawfords for years now and they`ve always done a great job. They are curteous, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to try and save me money. My Accord, my wife`s Corolla, and our daughters Focus and Cobalt are all in good hands at Crawford Auto. I trust them and that`s the best complement you can give a mechanic.

Love the service
Can`t say enough about this repair shop, they are a great bunch of guys specially Jason who works at the front desk. They have worked on my Range Rover, Ford, and Chrysler Pacifica. They tailor the service to your need unlike a dealer charge a fair price for the work they do, best of all they are honest.

former tech
I can say that when i was an employee we had top service. i also can say in 2008 it went down hill starting with the service writer Jason and they hired new wanna be techs. I will start with jason , on any given day he needs a tampon and that reflects his customer service. Next we have a new mechanicbob sorry i can`t call him a tech, he is a former meth addict and alcoholic. I have caught him stealing from customer ... view morecars. comes to work sweating like a pig when its 35 degrees. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YA. There was a mechanic named Ken he was hired out of shame for what crawford had fired him for. REAL GOOD TECH IF RANDALL HELD HIS HAND. WILL YOU GET SCREWED IF NOT NOW ] EVENTUALLY,..I CURRENTLY HAVE THREE LAWSUITES IN PROGRESS AGAINST CRAWFORD AUTO [ HOPE YOUR CAR ISN`T IN THE BUILDING WHEN THE SHERIFF LOCKS THE DOORS. ALOT OF FRAUD , THEIVING, LYING , STEALING, CHEATING, GOING ON. AND THEY CLAIM TO BE CHRISTAINS.

Regarding iceref63`s comments
(The comments box only allowed 500 characters. I posted my response to iceref63`s here in the review section. In order to do this it was necessary to rate my review to proceed. I selected three stars, based on what I felt our performance merited.)
iceref63 is correct. The vehicle was indeed towed to our repair facility, unable to start. After engaging in the systematic testing procedure that we perform for eve... view morery vehicle that exhibits a no start symptom, we found a loose connection at the battery. After repairing the connection, we performed a charging system test and ECM scan for both current codes and codes that may be logged in the ECM`s memory. The vehicle then started ever time when tried, post repair. The cable was indeed removed from the battery terminal post, as was the other cable. We have a battery memory saver that plugs into the on board diagnostic connector that saves the ECM memory as well as radio presets. This is primarily performed to avoid resetting the ECM and activating the radio security lock out that often requires a special code to reactivate radio use.
It is our company`s policy to repair, rather than refund. Had iceref63 returned with the same symptom he would have recieved full credit towards the repair of the vehicle and compensation for the tow. We do not refund money, especially if the the vehicle is repaired by an outside agency, be it the owner or another shop.
iceref63`s complaint that he was not contacted as he was promised by me is absolutely correct. He was sent to the ""customer service black hole"" by me and I have no excuse for this behavior. It is an issue that we are actively working to remedy.
In our 25 years of service, we have focused our efforts on customer service and correct repairs in an effort to build relationships with the folks in our community. We fall short, certainly. I regret this and I accept full responsibilty for failing to contact iceref663 after telling him that I would.

Poor Service, Inability to Diagnose Correctly.
I seriously recommend somebody other than Crawford Auto. I had my vehicle towed there due to not starting and told them that there is probably something up with the starter or the starter solenoid. They told me that it was a loose battery connection ($20 charge for battery service) and did a ""no start diagnosis"" ($80). I don`t think they even disconnected the cable from the battery (radio station presets still th... view moreere). Told them that it was not the battery cable but they did not believe me. Couple of days later, same situation, no start. I diagnosed the problem myself being a bad starter soleniod when warmed up ($15 part) and am right with the diagnosis. I contacted Crawfords to ask for a refund for the diagnosis charge since they diagnosed incorrectly. Person at front counter would not give a refund but told me that he would talk to the owner. I told person at the front counter to have owner, Ronny Crawford, to call me about this matter. As of today`s date, he has not called.
At this point, I do not put much faith into Crawford`s work or their ability to diagnose issues correctly.
