They`ve always been geat to work with - I`ve been going to this store for at least 4, maybe 5 years. don`t be fooled by this joker below- sorry you didnt pass . fix it, move on. Stay away. Prolube falsely fai...
Stay away. Prolube falsely failed my car inspection for window tint. Took my car to another reputable location and it passed. 4 days later a DMV inspector came to my place of employment during the day and found my window tint was legal and agreed Prolube was wrong. I want my money back.

Went for a quick oil change a couple of weeks ago. I`ve seen this place go through a bunch of managers lately, but there is a young man there named Josh that I think is doing a good job. I think the old manager Danny was a real lazy guy. I think Josh has been there for a while now and that`s the only reason I go to this prolube. I had a good experience. They were quick and I liked that I could sit in my car while they worked on it. I am probably biased because I am a 21 year old woman and all of the employee`s were young men who treated me very nicely, but all the same, they worked on my car. I went in for a full service oil change, and the technician showed me how dirty my radiator fluid was and told me because of the contamination it co... view moreuld freeze in cold temperatures, or over heat on long car rides. He told me I needed to get it done pretty soon so I just went ahead and had them do it then. It was $100 for the service on top of $38 for the oil change. I might have over paid, but they were very helpful and I can see a big improvement in my car`s performance.

I`ve been going to this Prolube station for years and have always had great service. Danny is always quick to go out of his way to come and speak.
The other two reviews may be true, but not for everybody. Great job Danny! Keep it up!

1 good, 1 you determine
i had one good experience with oil change in a civic, that`s why i revisited to get a vehicle inspected.
i was purchasing a vehicle that was 12 mos past the last inspection but not due to be inspected for 4 more months. since i was purchasing and it had been more than 12 months dmv said it needed inspection before i could get a license tag. of course it was on friday and i got a 3 day permit to drive to inspection ... view morestation only. so saturday i chose this station because of my last visit. when prolube personnel pulled up the information on the vehicle it could not process because it was out of the 2 month window before next inspection was due. well of course i was not happy and neither was my attitude. dmv said i need it, nc inspection station says we can`t do it. state screwup not to come up with this occurance. i left but soon returned to get something i could take to dmv to say i tried to get it inspected but couldn`t.
i was denied anything. they don`t have paper, can`t write notes, no business cards, no letterheads. can`t even produce a blank receipt. again i`m disappointed.
my father went up to try and get something to take to dmv, he was able to get a computer generated message with print screen, about the 2 month window, but not any proof it came from this station. he also questioned about business card, anything to tie to this station. he felt this was unbelievable and tensions were elevating.
prolube did finally offer to inspect the vehicle but by this time it was out of the question for me. the experience has soured me on prolube. there are just to many other places to go and patronize. if you decide to go, i hope you have a better experience.
