Very rude and unprofessional!!...
Very rude and unprofessional!!! My vehicle was stolen and I needed to purchase a second vehicle at a used car price so that if my primary was found (which it was) I wouldn`t have two new car car payments. I saw a couple of 4x4 SUVs on Odell`s web page and went by to check them out. My first disappointment was when the salesman showed me a vehicle while smoking a cigarette!! I could care less if someone smokes but I a... view morem a potential sale and I had my 11 month old daughter with me so I was REALLY disgusted!! I test drove the vehicle anyway and liked it so decided to look past the smoking issue and purchase it. The salesman tried to INCREASE the sales price by $1000.00 because they had made some repairs to the SUV even though it was listed at the lower price on the webpage. It wasn`t until I pulled up the ad on my iPhone and showed him (along with the words "false advertisment") that he agreed to the listed price. I paid for the vehicle and told the salesman that I would return that afternoon to pick it up. When I returned, the vehicle wouldn`t start because the battery was dead. No biggie (its winter and propably wasn`t driven much) but the dealership didn`t even want to put a new battery in it for me!! They finally agreed and I headed down the road hoping to never have to speak to them again. That afternoon my oil change light came on. Three days later the hydraulic arms on the liftgate went out so every time I needed something from the back I had the liftgate come down on top of me. That same day I noticed that the passenger rear tire was leaking air. Keep in mind I am less that a week from the date of purchase at this point!! I called the dealership and explained my issue. I was told that these were all minor issues and reminded that the car was used. I in turn informed the gentleman that while the car was used and these may be minor issues, they were really inconvenient for a pregnant mother of three to deal with alone (my husband is deployed overseas with the military) and that if they were so minor, they should have been addressed before the vehicle was sold!! It was at this point that the man says "What do you want me to do about it?" I told him that I wanted a new rear tire for starters, the dealership advertisement info off of the liftgate (I REFUSE to let anyone go there because they saw it on MY car), and an oil change. He laughed an d hung up!!!
DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!

Very Unprofessional
As a business man myself I cannot fathom that a man would conduct his business in the apparent manner that George Odell does. He is rude, arrogant, and very unprofessional. It seems to me that he would be in the business to sell cars. I called on his business to see if by chance he might have a vehicle that I would be interested in purchasing. Upon my initial phone call with him he apparently mistook me for a sal... view moreesman. He was so rude and unfriendly. I was actually calling to inquire about purchasing a vehicle from him, I guess by the nature of my questions he assumed I was trying to sell him something. Well, guess what?! He was wrong and as a result he lost a sale. There is no cause for rudeness no matter what the circumstance. In my opinion when you are dealing with another human being, no matter what, you do not treat them as though they are beneath you in any way. It shouldn`t matter if it is the one thousandth telemarketer to call on you that day and you are completely out of patience, there is ALWAYS a polite way to quickly get off the phone. Heck, the way he treated me he should have just hung up on me, that would have been a lot more polite. You should always be courteous ESPECIALLY when you are conducting a business. I would NEVER do business with anyone who would speak to someone in that manner. So George, if you`re reading this, CONGRATULATIONS! You`ve lost yourself a sale and any future sales that could have potentially come from a referral from me! DO NOT do business with this man.
