We won`t take our cars anywhere but here!

Our entire family of 5 take our cars to Dimitri and his team at West German... Audi, BMW and Mercedes and they are pros with them all. There is no where else that does such a trustworthy job, at fair pricing, in no time at all. We have never felt over charged and he actually goes out of his way to check several options (like he did with my tires). Here is my recent experience: I called concerned about a burnin... view moreg smell, a broken door handle latch and worn tires. Just after the car went out of warranty BMW gave me an estimate of over $1200 for the tires, without labor, and another $2000+ for ""oil leak"" repairs and ""severely cracked belts that could leave me stranded at any moment"" that were likely causing the burning smell. WELL, West German checked out the car, said they would shop around for the best tire options and the belts were fine but there was a slight leak. With them the same Michelin tires cost me much less and the leak repair was minimal... + the door latch + labor = right around $2000 total! THEY SAVED ME UNNECESSARY REPAIRS + TIME + $$$$ and I left feeling at ease about everything else. Thank you guys! I always know my car is in great hands!

Honest mechanic, excellent service, no need to keep looking...

I heard about this place from a mechanic at a euro dealer. I tried them out to try to save some money over using the dealer. I have been taking my GL450 and A4 there for the last the last five years or so, and have had nothing but great experiences. Not to mention, saved lots of money vs the dealer. Anyone who has given these guys a bad review, probably didn`t have the patience to give these guys a fair shake. Some people just can`t be pleased.

Excellent Mechanics Specializing in German Autos

I have had multiple autos in for repair / service at West German. Its just my nature to get at least 2 estimates on expensive repairs. Every instance this shop has been significantly lower and are able to get the work completed in half the time. They are fair, take ample time to explain the work performed and always try to save the customer money. Agree on great mechanics!

I have taken my vehicles (Mercedes and Audi) to West German for years. They are very professional and are always honest. I have gotten quotes from other garages and WGG is always less. I recommend them to others and will continue to use them.

Great mechanics.

West German Garage has provided excellent service at competitive prices for my VW. A colleague at NCSU has had similar great experiences there, after bringing her car elsewhere and spending a lot more money without having it repaired until coming here. Dangerous and dishonest!

After taking my car to a mechanic in my family we discovered all kinds of things West German had done to my engine to create problems and could have been extremely dangerous! I`m glad I found out when I did and will NEVER take my car to them ever again. You`ll only spend more money and get less with this place!
