My wife recently took our car to the Valvoline service center in Nashua NH (603) 886-9591 for a routine oil change on 8/10/2011. I was surprised to see a bill for $80.68 As I usually do my own oil changes, I thought the price was rather high. So I decided to inspect the car to see what an $80.00 oil change buys me. Unfortunately I found the following deficiencies. 1. Oil all over the undercarriage of the car 2... view more. Windshield fluid not filled as indicated in bill 3. Tire pressures were different than shown on bill Needless to say, I was quite dissatisfied so I decided to call the store manager, Mike Dougherty. I explained my situation and asked for a more detailed explanation of my wife`s bill. Mike essentially told me that the categories such as parts and labor subtotals really didn`t mean anything so he couldn`t give me an itemized bill. (That`s a bit odd) When I asked about a charge labeled extra oil for $7.69 I was told that because I needed more that 6 quarts of oil (6.10 quarts to be exact) I was charged for the next full quart. So I paid the full quart price of $7.69 and received 1/10th of a quart of oil. When I explained the oil on my undercarriage Panel (where the tech changed the oil filter) He told me that it wasn`t Valvoline`s mistake and that I should bring the car in so they could look for a leak. Yeah right, bring my car in and what, charge me $100 to adjust my rear view mirror? I recommend staying away from these guys. Hope my reviews helps someone. Good luck
