I got in an accident about a little over month ago with a sanitation truck though I wasn`t at fault anyway when the Cops came I was asked if I wanted my car towed to the nearest shop, I agreed...Bad Idea! So a guy named Mike came to tow my car he asked about my deductible which was $1000 he said wow that`s steep but we can work something out. They keep telling me different dates plus its two weeks over the estimated time my car was suppose to be fixed. I work overnight and I`m spending money to take transportation because my car still isn`t ready. They told me today I was suppose to get it but now I`m told they buffing the car since they just finished painting it which seemed like it took them a week to paint it. Whoever answers the phone is very unprofessional, you get "Shop"...no "Good morning Bronx Collision" or "Goodmorning How May I Help You". And when I did call to express my concerns about my car I kept being put on hold like 3 times, honestly I would never go to this shop again. They keep telling me you know you have a $1000 deductible and I keep telling them that I was told there was something they can be worked out with that price. They only care about getting money not trying to compromise and work things out. They next time which I hope is no time soon that I get in an accident I will be taking my car back to Dom`s Auto Body Shop which they are more professional and resonable not to mention they do great work.

The service and the experience was the best.

I got into a really bad wreck in 2010 with my 2009 Jeep Cherokee.some guy ran a stop sign and smashed into me hitting my front,left side. The tow truck comes by and saw that i was very shooken up from the wreck and tried to talk me down me down cause that was the very first time iv been in a accident.after being checked out the paramedics and talking to the police i left with the tow truck with him towing my car.I ta... view morelked to the owner John and guided me with what would happen with my car. to my suprise i didnt have to pay for anything at all cause i wasnt at fault.and i even got a rent a car free of charge while my car was being fixed.2 weeks later i come back to pick up my car and its like new.the paint job,the bumber,EVERYTHING looked to be great and they completely cleaned out my car(which it needed very badly lol).I had nothing but a great experience with bronx county and i would gladly recommend this place to everyone and anyone out there.

John is completely unprofessional

I bought my car approximately three weeks ago, a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. I`m not used to parking in such dense areas, so when I was trying to parallel park behind an older, large, red van the same day that I bought the car, I got too close to his back bumper and pulled off my front bumper while I backed up to fix my position. It was supposed to be taken to a Honda dealer for service, but the tow truck man convinced me that they`d rip me off and screw me over. So he brought it to Bronx County Collision. From the beginning my business with them was bad. John, the owner, called and wanted to fax over an estimate. The total came to over $3,000 (when the tow truck guy said it would be more like $2,000). So I told them that I was going to call Geico. It took the guy from Geico about 4 business days to get over there, but it was worth it since he got the price down to $2,200. Then, John said he had to wait for the parts to come in before fixing the car. I also had to send an email giving him permission to work on the car, which I did last Sunday (today being a week and a day after). I called on Tuesday to make sure he received my email. He did. I was told to call back on Thursday. I forgot about it then, but I called Friday. He said that he had to take it to the dealer to reset some airbag thing and it should be ready Monday. Monday comes (today) and it`s not finished. They feel like the car isn`t aligned correctly (and they haven`t even painted the car). I told him that I will pick it up tomorrow, but was told that it might not be ready by then. Summary: the entire time John never called me with the status of my car. I have to keep calling him back, and he keeps changing the dates on me. It`s a bumper. The car was fine when I bought it, and yet they keep finding reasons not to give it back. DON`T DO BUSINESS WITH BX COUNTY COLLISION!!!!!!
