Just wanted to let you know that my experience with Silver City has been appreciated. I am recently divorced and it meant alot to be treated like a person and not a female. Your personel is friendly and informative and helped me get my car taken car of without taking advantage of me. I also brought in my daugher`s car because of the excellent service I received. 40 and done!

i called silver city and got a price on snow tires for my toyota sienna - they had they best price, and said ""come in anytime we should have your tires on in about 45 minutes"" - well i was skeptical of the time factor, but the price was 90 dollars lower than the nearest quote, so i went in at 2:30 and my van was done at 3:09! they said my old tires still had enough tread for next summer, so i kept them and they rem... view moreinded me that my inspection was gooing to be due in december. they were very nice! best service ever :) thanks guys

THEY found it

I took my Trailblazer to 2 shops because i had a clunking and roaring noise...they could find nothing wrong. Last week I was talking to a friend of mine who lives in Oneida and she said take to Dave at Silver City. I didn`t even know who he was or where it was. I live in Rome. I took to him and he drove it and parked it ion the shop. Fifteen minutes later he told me the problem, gave me an estimate, and said it could... view more be done while I wait if I had a couple of hours, or have it done anywhere, but it needed to be done soon. I got it done there. It took the full two hours, but the price was lower than the estimate. The clunking and roaring is gone! Driving in peace!

A Biz who ranks Honesty higher than their bottom $

Last spring my normal tire place had me convinced I needed 4 new tires on my car asap as a safty issue however I did not have the money that day to have them order them & thank god I didnt cause after taking my car in for yearly inspection at Silver City the following week and bringing it to their attention that I would need tires too., Dave L who owns the place told me NO U dont need tires why do u want new tires? I knew then that the place I was loyal to because it was a family biz was trying to scam me. :( Dave said my tires were fine & should get me through another season cause I change over to winter ones in fall & he was right. :) I was happy this week when I went in to Silver City and ordered that new set for my car. Yup the honesty I was given got my biz! Gotta admit most biz`s r about the $ which Silver City could had got me for very easily last spring. Instead they choose to be honest. I want to deal w/ a biz that respects me & is honest not one that wants to fill me w/ B.S. because I am female so they can make money off me :P

Will never go back

I brought my 99 civic in for tires and let them talk me into one of their synthetic oil change deals.Everything was fine until the next morning when i found about 2 quarts of oil running down my driveway.Not wanting drive it like that I looked around and found they had not removed the old gasket from the filter mount. It`s just basic procedure to check that the old gasket is gone.I think they just rush to get more... view more traffic through. Not Happy

I went to Silver City Tire today to have my tires changed over. I am not happy with the service or the way I was treated by the man that works at the desk. I will never bring any of my vehicles to this place of business again. They not only charged an astronomical price for their services. They chewed up my rims on my car.
